Is weight distribution the reason why the ride will sometimes raise to the top, pause for about half a minute, and then lower back down again, and fail to spin? This happened to me once.

Do you think the ride operator can see how much weight is on each end? And it might tell you if it's enough, not enough or too much weight.Is that what the other cabin is known as, the remote console?

I would like to see something happen to the Rodeo area very soon. It's been in that disgraceful state since the beginning of the 2005 season now.Also, from what I understand about Beanoland, is it's sponsorship contract expires at the end of this year, therefore meaning that the whole area will go - unless the contract is extended, which I think would be a bad move. The Beano might be just over 50 years old now (last week) but there are better things that kids prefer these days.Beanoland is now 8 years old, and in that time, we've seen the Tweenies, Scooby Doo, SpongeBob SquarePants and many more characters at the park, a clear sign that Chessington isn't interested in promoting Beano-related characters anymore, and therefore it is wise decision to get rid of Beanoland.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

2 weeks after we had the snow back in April, I went to Thorpe Park and it was a damp day. It got so bad it started to hail, and we all boarded Samurai and then got straight back off because the hail was so bad.

The route from the farm to Canada Creek where it went behind Burger King was the most exciting part, and the waft you got from BK was lovely. I see that for this year only (whilst it's closed), the bears from the railway are scattered around Loggers Leap. I take it they'll be returning to the railway next year?Also, along near Nemesis Inferno, I see the railway has not only long gone, but the landscaping has been done so well that newcomers to Thorpe would never have known it went down there! Is it all gone and well landscaped behind Burger King, and right the way to the farm?

Yeah, the netting's bearable but the cobra roll does feel a bit overcrowded it's been added there. The cobra roll's the worst area for "net looks" IMO.Last month I went on the 5th and 27th. On the 5th Colossus was closed because they were still doing the nets. You could walk upto to the shop and no further, that's where it was blocked off from. The cobra roll pit was empty then. This was before the nets were added here. Same story with cobra roll pit on the 27th, when Colossus was back open and the nets had all been put up.Like I say, it was perfect at the start of the season, but it must've lasted until about early May before it went dry again.

Before they built the hotel, there was a section near where you drive in, and in there was about 3 old, useless Bubbleworks tubs plus 1 or 2 buggered Skyway trains. They had been there donkeys years, but this is all gone and tidied up now, as they must've cleared it when the hotel construction began.

Is it me or do both Nemesis rides have 3 inline twists each? Because I was under impression Inferno had more? And it was because of that reason I preferred Inferno.I have really warmed to Nemesis at Alton Towers since riding it for the first time nearly 3 years ago. It is legendary, I can see why people thought it was the most intense rollercoaster in the UK when it opened back in 1994. They say it still is and I disagree.Has the blood river been that red flow since it first opened?
