You all seem to be under the impression this is coming from one person? I'm sure they'd be flattered but it would be a disservice to the team behind SouthParks to think that. Also, the person responsible for 'Washing Machine' is no longer part of the team as of over two years ago, it was however partially right in that it pointed us in the direction of the inversion record. Of course anything is speculation until announced by the park, nobody is saying anything to the contrary, many attractions have even been fully under construction and things have changed wildly from 'plans' to what was eventually presented to the general public. As for the article specifically, I keep rereading it but nowhere does it say anything that we didn't know before? Why is it then such an issue when it's suddenly collated into one article? It doesn't even specify what the attraction is other than a few references to the route the park is going to take based on its current target market and attendence predictions/history. In short, I'm not sure what the fuss is about? Can't we just enjoy this exciting period of speculation without childish jibes and attacks on other websites/people? I honestly thought the team and members of Thorpe Park Mania were above that.

Shameless plugging ahoy. We at TowersTimes have been flying again! You can see the images in our (members only) SW7 forum: http://forum.towerstimes.co.uk/sw7-91/latest-aerial-updates/msg692820/#msg692820 It is a little bit concerning how little has been done so far. Whilst these coasters do indeed go up very quickly this time during Saw construction the ride was in the hands of studios getting the final fix and theming treatment.

It is more than the central hub being replaced. It is also the spokes and general ride structure. The mechanics of the ride are getting an extensive overhaul this closed season as well, more so than it would have done normally. For all intents and purposes the ride will be 'As new' next year.

The thing with the Snoozebox is this is not the Thorpe Park Hotel. It is a temporary installation until the proper hotel is built. If of course the proper hotel was going to be a mess of shipping containers and half arsed effort then I could understand the hate, but it isn't. The log cabins are lovely, as they should be for something that is permanant and staying around for a very long time. They just need to bolster the resorts entertainment options to go along with it.

No maze is moving from Thorpe Park to Alton Towers. Alton Towers are simply retheming Boilerhouse for this years new addition.
