The smoke was very thick today, I'm glad to see on rides like this, Colossus and Saw that they have the queue workers dispatching people into the stations.. it's much more orderly and if you have fastrack you still get the front seat/normal seat choice

Exactly, Flying over the remains of London's most iconic structures.. escaping from the disaster that has hit the earth > Flying over a crash scene with a crashed helicopter and aeroplane. But I guess they are spending £18 million so ill just wait and see!Also I'm glad to see Merlin's coaster budget getting closer to the likes of Cedar point

In this photo, you can see the ride could actually fit in with a bit of effort: - Trees in front of that big green shed - SORT OUT those leaks! and the big patch of building site underneath it - Turn the path through the supports into a themed tunnel? or just theming on the sides.I wonder if they plan to do some more to it within the next few years!?

That video shows perfectly how we all feel. The roar of Colossus and it's mysterious yet catchy music.. then Squelch There's storm surge.Thorpe Park have really done badly with this one. Just put the semi fun experience to the side for a sec..As much as the ride looks terrible in the position is in, you would expect Thorpe to do some nice theming around the area.But no we get fake rust that makes the ride look even worse, The most pathetic queue line I've ever seen, Big leaks and a pathway that looks like it's had a few rides ripped out of it.. oh wait

I think it depends how tall your are / where you head is in the restraint, because when I don't sit at the front I find it painful with the extreme ear and head banging, but others don't notice it at all

I think once the infilling has finished, they have to leave it for a year to settle.

There is a path underneath it leading to x no way out (: the queue line goes through the gap to!I didn't go on this today :/ First of all because it looked busy, and since it doesn't have a Q time board ( ) I didn't bother! From the looks of it it seems pretty fun though! Also I didn't think thorpe was expecting such high numbers today.. All the restaurants (I think) closed early maybe due to lack of food (I think)

Yeah, I think what SAW and Colossus have in common is that when you stop at the end your face feels completely wind slapped and you think 'woah'

I huuugely doubt Colossus will be gone in 10 years.. maybe like 15-20 but it was such a big investment and it's a popular ride and it probably will be for a long time
