Can anyone tell me why, when this ride was closed for a while, the ride team still stood at the loading platform/thing when the ride didn't open all day?

I agree, surely it would be easier too?Because they would only need one person to dispatch them onto the rides at the station instead of 2 people at each entrance...

I think it may just be so they can control the main queue and fastrack queue easier?

Does anyone know why Slammer and it's whole area is closed off? I was quite looking forward to riding it for the first time today :\

I'm pretty sure we spin aswell? just very slightly, because when it first started we were suddenly all leaning slightly backwards but the room hadn't changed.and throughout the ride my friends bag would move a bit forward.

I was thinking, in 2008 Thorpe park had 13 all over the 2009 Coaster trailers and in the end it was because it came out on March the 13th. but then I also wondered if they had originally planed for saw the ride to be th13een? and then decided it would be better suited for Alton towers.
