@CoasterJamie how hard is it to understand that there is blatantly a very good reason why Merlin are shutting all their log flumes and they aren't just doing it to piss people like you off. I'm sure they wouldn't be closing them all if they didn't have to.
  2. New Hulk support apparently Source: http://carowindsconnection.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4378&start=391#p85521

2016: Open Derren Brown Robo-coaster, massive success Give Loggers Leap and Rumba Rapids a lot of attention over the season. Rumba Rapids renamed and rethemed to a tropical paradise in the heart of the island. Run a consistent and fun Summer event, with foam parties/BBQ's on the beach Have timed ticket slots for Fright Nights mazes. Introduce new mazes (only keeping Big Top), one themed around Psychology(potential Derren Brown ride link in) located where Cabin is, one themed around a ghost ship (on saw Alive boat) and a large scare zone on the island behind Swarm based on government experiments with aliens. 2017: Completely redo the admissions area, have proper permanent queue system and new entrance plaza. (Part one of entrance/hotel work) Close Burger King/KFC and introduce heavily themed Merlin food outlets Big push on creating a solid park brand, add in bits of theming to rides/areas which make it feel more like an island. Bring back strong park areas, Lost City etc with more theming and area/ride music. 2018: Demolish the dome and build a larger, more modern entrance hub with restaurants, bowling alley (free for hotel guests) and shops. (Part two of entrance/hotel work) Completely gut X, add in a simple family thrill coaster with trick track and 3D screen elements, themed around a Pyramid. Large marketing campaign hyping up a brand new beast for 2019 2019: Rip down Swarm and replace it with a Furius Baco clone. Open new lakeside hotel and make Shark Hotel a cheaper alternative.
  8. Someone's completely missed the point of my post, I just listed the stuff that's asked for every single closed season

Cost cutting probably, much rather it be Loggers than Slammer/X!
  10. Thorpe Park x 12 (I think) Chessington x 1 Alton Towers x 1 Disneyland Paris x 3 PortAventura x 3 (Don't know where Amy got 5 from)
  11. People seem surprised that it's a disused warehouse, hasn't that been in the plans all along?
  12. Colossus repaint, Top Spin, new show in arena, get rid of all Fastrack, rumba rapids retheme, loggers getting its tunnel back.

  18. I went on Sunday for the first time since last year, never done a Halloween event at Chessington before, but I had a really good time Obviously it could be a million times better with more roaming actors/events going on around the park and a couple more mazes, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Trick or Treat Woods was a bit of fun obviously aimed at very young children, but as it never had a queue it was a decent walk through attraction. As 1 of only 2 mazes at the park though, it should've and probably could've been a lot longer. The acting was good though and the costumes were very good, it's nice to see a Halloween event where the actors have good makeup/costumes. Curse of the Lost Tomb was very cool, I loved there being a storyline, with people helping you out along the way and not everyone being 'the bad guy'. The theming in here was top notch, and the room with the puzzle on the floor would've made a better room than the Roman Numerals one in Containment at Thorpe. Just a shame they told us there was 10 rooms and it was over 10 minutes long, maybe they skipped out a few rooms for certain reasons? Also wtf was it with the disco lights shining down in the corridors, definitely lost the effect of being in a tomb with them Then it just ended and that was it, a shame really as the build up was very good, it deserved a better ending,

No, the website says it's closed for the season.

You're more than welcome to moan as much as you like (which you do on a constant basis), I just think people get a bit confused when you continuously visit the parks, and then buy a pass for next year.

Can there be an automatic popup box that appears with this sentence before people press submit on posts? That point cannot be stressed enough.
