It's also not fair that people use benefits to purchase drugs, alcohol and other luxuries that aren't needed. Life's not fair.

Been a strange couple of days for more. Yesterday at work a metal cage containing a load of milk fell on my foot, I went and told someone and they said to find the person on duty. I told the person on duty and they just told me to get a mop and bucket to clean up the milk, even though I was clearly in pain and my shift had finished 5 minutes ago. So I went and got it but I was in so much pain so just left. I thought it was just bruising but I couldn't walk properly so got my dad to pick me up. He took me to hospital to get it checked just in case it was a break. I've never had to go to hospital for myself before and I was absolutely terrified. I was in there for just over 3 hours and saw some horrible things. Turns out I've fractured my toe and I'm off work today (work wasn't too happy about that). But they didn't report the accident at work so I need to have words with my manager because the fact that instead of seeing if I'm okay getting me to clean up was not good. Apart from that, today I applied for a job at HMV which I'm really excited about and I hope I get that. No idea why I'm writing this but I don't post much on here anymore and I'm bored so why not!

I can imagine it being £3 for a fastrack for each maze, maybe that's what the person on the phone meant? Otherwise there would be a HUGE backlash with the all-ready high entrance prices, £5 booking fee for AP holders and then extra for each maze (on top of secondary spend, people won't be able to afford it).

Where did you find this information?

Let's talk about Fright Nights and not which park is better yeah
-
Thorpe Park haven't announced anything about it thus far, keep an eye out on their facebook page and ours for more Fright Nights information. http://www.facebook.com/thorpeparkmania http://www.facebook.com/thorpepark

I never said that they were new signs, just hadn't noticed those small details before.

Ranger County Asylum I'm pretty excited for FN now!

Do you mean for the closed season? If so, the final day of opening for Thorpe this year is Monday 5th November. They haven't announced the opening day for next year but it is usually around mid-March.

When I got fastrack tickets for the mazes the longest I had to queue was about 10 minutes, but to be fair that helped build up the nerves You can buy Fright Night tickets already, all you need to do is book normal tickets for a Fright Night day (12-14th october, 19-21st october, 26th october - 4th november). It's all here http://thorpepark.com/prices/tickets.aspx?tabnum=5 I assume that the last hour on park empties out because people want to beat the rush of everyone leaving the car park at once? People will still be on park a long time so they may leave early, meaning the last hour will be a lot quieter. Also I've noticed on FN days the first 1 or 2 hours on park are quieter because people tend to arrive later on. So if you're planning on spending the whole day at the park you will be able to get a lot of rides done before 12pm!

Confuzzled is exaggerating a bit here. It is busy during Fright Nights but not THAT busy. If it is too busy for you, you can buy fastrack. I remember last year I got a fastrack package for all of the mazes which was £15 (I think) and I got in them all within 2 hours because you had time-slots for each maze. Once mazes open at 4 ride queues start to die down due to everyone rushing for the mazes. Another tip, the last hour on park is usually quieter and you can get on quite a bit during this time. It's definitely worth going!

Aren't we getting that snoozebox hotel? I'd be surprised if any other ride is installed, but feel free to surprise me Thorpe
-
I'm pretty sure that wasn't at the park last year, so it's pretty much confirmed already that it won't be there this year either.

They always are, every year

If it's under £30 a night I think it'll be alright, interior for the rooms looks pretty sweet, just the exterior that lets it down. It's one of those things that made me burst into laughter when I first saw it and I even checked the date to see if it was April 1st. I guess we'll just have to see what happens with it.

Would be handy for club nights at Thorpe, meaning I don't have to find a driver who won't drink. If it's fairly cheap to get a room then it will be successful for these events, good move IMO.

Lot of time has been spent on events this season, wonder what they've got planned for Fright Nights, should be interesting.

Well, you're beating me so far

One of my midfielders scored twice today, nice start really!

Godalming College. Firstly, congratulations to everyone who's got the results they needed/deserved. But I didn't and I'm gutted. I got a D in Leisure and a U in Travel, "it's your own fault you should have worked harder" is what you may be thinking? If that was the case then I wouldn't be p***ed off right now. My Leisure course was split up into coursework and an exam. I didn't do so well in the exam and only got a D, so I need to work hard on my coursework. I finished my coursework with time to spare and my teacher had marked through it and said I'd get a C overall, a B if I'm really lucky. I was fine with that result so left it and moved onto my other work. So imagine the shock I got when I saw my results this morning and I have a D! I'm absolutely gutted because I could have easily improved on my coursework but I was told I didn't need to. So thank you very much Leisure Studies department at Godalming. My other subject, Travel and Tourism, was an absolute shambles. The teacher didn't know what she was talking half the time, I had a higher attendance than she did, she lost my coursework and she was a rude little bitch. So with that in mind I wasn't expecting much from the subject. But I got a U......... I went to lessons, I went to exams and I tried so hard with my coursework, surely I should have something out of this? I just feel like I tried so hard and the fact that the teaching quality was so poor my time was wasted. Don't be thinking I'm just shifting the blame on someone else, everyone else in my class has the exact same opinions as I have. It's not all bad though, I did get a Distinction* in IT which I am very proud of. Just means I can't get into University next year.
