  1. Can't argue with that to be honest. Th13teen's went off without a hitch. SAW, anything that could go wrong, did.
  2. Technically, Saw was open on time. It opened on March 14th, just like Th13teen opened on March 20th. It just closed very quickly...
  3. What's to say Kobra isn't Chessie's main attraction this year? And by the sounds of the other parks, Cheesie is raking in visitors compared to everyone else!
  4. Loads of people are saying they have got really wet this season. I'm sorry, but it is really not that much different! Okay, I got a little more wet than the end of last season, but only a splash-worth's more. Compared to the beginning of last season, it is poor. I'm sorry, but this ride really needs sorting out!
  5. Couple of reasons for that. Rumba had no queue, Stealth was about 5-10 minutes. 2 out of 6 of us didn't want to go on Stealth; not its biggest fans. Also, Rumba lasts longer - unlike that big thingy they call a ride.
  6. Mine's in the making still. Not been feeling 100% this week, so haven't spent as much time on it. 2 week Challenge it is then?
  7. Went to the park today. Longest queue I had was to get my AP (well, the ticket for it...) at about 35 minutes, which resulted in me getting into the park half hour late...Didn't do SAW, Alive or Colossus due to my friends and I not wanting the queue in the rain for over an hour. Did pretty much everything else.Park was rather quiet for opening weekend, probably due to the rain. Anyways, Ride Count for the day:Mr Monkey's Banana Ride x1 (FIRST RIDE OF THE SEASON )Inferno x1 (Front seat)Rumba Rapids x3Teacups x1Stealth x1Detonator x1Loggers Leap x3Rocky Express x1CCR x1Samurai x1Flying Fish x1 (Front row)X:\ No Way Out x1 (Front Row)Rush x1Vortex x1
  8. This is the strange thing. She's 15 and she bought it on her own card (okay, I'm not 100% sure to be honest - I know she's got her own card, so I'm just putting 2 and 2 together there). I do know, however, that she DID get print at home. Yet she has got to have a parent for identification. For now, I'll just assume she has used her mum's card till I find out tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
  9. Seemed like the most appropriate place to put this.A friend of mine booked her ticket online today for Saturday and choose the Print at Home option. However, because she's under 16, apparently her mum has to be there with her when she goes through the gate for 'identification purposes'. I'm foreign to the whole book online idea, so does anyone know if this is standard procedure or anything, as it does seem a bit pathetic..Cheers.

    Random

Let me rephrase that question to: 'Am I the only one who dreams about coasters?'
  11. Well, at least he can look forward to getting FUDGE on GCSE result day. (Of course, I'm joking. I'm sure he'll get great grades).

    Random

Am I the only one who had the normal dream about coasters?
  13. Bah, not that big a deal really. Just one day really; it's not like he'll miss that much. I've skipped school plenty of times to go to TP - SAW AP day, opening days and just random days to go when it's quiet. In the end, the only reason why I didn't go is because all but 1 lesson I had today was really important for me. If it had been opening day yesterday, I'd have been there.
  14. Any other year and I would have had a mysterious hospital appointment in London to go to so I could have the day off school. . However, Yr11 is too important for me to skip a day off school.Bring on the busy Saturday though. :/

    Th13teen

The second video gives me hope, yet I still feel a tad disappointed by the outcome we're seeing so far. Hopefully, ride effects, lighting, audio, etc will compensate for what appears to be a below-par ride. Then again, you kinda have to expect that the experience as a whole will be good, considering Wardley is behind the project. As for keeping the secret weapon a secret, well, they let the cat out of the bag now. Anyway, I've known what the secret was for a year now...Anyway, this world first isn't a world first in the first place. Winjas anyone..

    Th13teen

I think it is classed as a Vekoma Enigma, not Junior. However, I do think at one point it might have been 1.2m (though I may have my facts wrong there).
  17. ^Obviously the timers on Fastrack signs haven't been sorted out.
  18. I shall be a pain again, but the walkway taken up by SAW Alive and it's queue line - can we incorporate that in our retheme in some form if we so wish?
  19. Question from me. What happens to SAW Alive? Is that gone, or can we retheme that as well?
  20. That is such an over exaggeration and generalisation. I too am a young person and young people such as myself would not be appealed by the in your face map. For example, I'm going next Saturday - I'm taking someone, same age as me and you, who hasn't been to the park since she was 4. She hasn't been to a theme park since she was 10. When I showed her the map today, she absolutely hated it. In fact, the first thing she said was "I'm glad I'm going with you or else I'd get lost." Granted, that may be a bit of an exaggeration - but still, it fails its objective of a MAP. I showed a few other friends as well, and their genera opinion was dislike as well. We are all young people and are not appealed by the in your face map that has been set. In the end, each to their own and all that - but just remember not all young people are appealed to such ideas.
  21. ^No repainting for those rides as far as I know.I too hate the map. The rides look awful and negotiating around the park will be hard for first timers. It just looks horrific. On a plus note, I like how they've got the Vicar of Thorpe still Christening Stealth - obviously they're planning on bad luck this season.
  22. ^That's only 8 inversions. XD
  23. Intamin do offer a 12 inversion style as well. Imagine what that would be like....
