Small coaster I'd have said Wild Mouse at BPB prior to it getting knocked down, that thing used to chuck you about left, right, up and down and covered a very small area. Certainly my favourite coaster in the UK when it was about. Now I'd probably go with Backlot Stunt Coaster at King's Island. I was expecting a naff kids coaster as it looked small and didn't take up huge amount of space , but what happened was I massively greyed out more than any other intense coaster I'd ever down literally after the naff launch and into the helixes. You want intense helixes then this thing will tick all the boxes. I Coasters that are disappointing for their size? Would have to go with diamondback. The thing looked incredible and was expecting it to be on par with Shambhala but instead was probably the most disapointing large coaster I'd ever been on. Or Mystic Timbers. Again was expecting something great having been on Wodan and Wickerman which I both enjoyed. But nope just lacked any umph. Though seems I'm in a minority with that.

Whilst I have a TV licence it is only for the odd few programmes I watch on BBC Iplayer (rarely watch as they air). However these days with so many streaming services I often question whether it's worth having. I'd definitely say traditional TV is dying.

Agreed. I was disappointed when I saw it, but take away the short ride time, I think this will pack a punch and feel out of control! Looking forward to it being built and following construction, before being able to ride it. Still believe it could be a UK favourite for many.

Thorpe have released a video on socials as well confirming it is in the works, as well as announcing aloud the closure of the flats or a potential relocation. My bet is the beach by Wet Wet Wet/Containment for Timber Tug Boat and Lumber Jump. One thing for certain is there are very exciting times ahead* *Pending planning permission approval

Seems like things will leak Thursday following two live in person events... Found on Theme Attractions on Twitter

Some very rare close up footage of how awesome the scenery and animatronics was in the true Bubbleworks ride, Professor Burps Bubbleworks. Those of you who thought Imperial Leather Bubbleworks was amazing didn't have a clue 😄 14:03 onwards

Glad you had a good day. Funny how the older rides have more scope to run in those conditions. You'd think the most modern of coasters would have been more carefully designed and those actually be the ones to work better in extreme weather conditions.

Good to see. Potentially exciting times ahead! For me i'd still like to see a hyper. But any "exhilarating" coaster will be welcomed Out if interest where did you get this? Are you local to the park? What's the back say as there are no dates or anything on that side?

I remember end of 2020 it was riding dreadfully, just crawling round the unbanked turn around, which then seemed to sort itself out in 2021. For me I still find Wickerman to be a bit naff near the front of the train, and earlier in the day. If you can get towards the back at the end of the day I find it packs more of a punch.

The rumours don't stand. They've never been rumours. Nick worked on audio changes to create a sort of narrative to Tomb Blaster. Nothing was ever mentioned about it changing back to it's old form. People were joking with you as they thought it funny that you believed it was coming back.

Things that make you think of Thorpe Park
Mattgwise replied to Inferno's topic in General Discussion
It's ghastly. I counted 61 people queue jump in the queue for Shambhala and that was just when I started counting! And not even just people catching up to friends! Queue jumping at Thorpe is non existent in comparison! My non enthusiast friend was put off of theme parks for life! -
Could very well be happening. As for the names time will tell 😉 New rides, an almost certain no!

I have a feeling they will move these over to the area near Depth Charge was, they would actually fit in better there. Perhaps where the old Containment shipping containers are currently, or the old site of Sea Snakes and Ladders, or even Wet Wet Wet could go as I don't believe that was used at all this year. There would likely be a need to keep them IF Rocky Express is truly leaving as that even less children's/family rides. Was fun having the "possible" last ever (two) ride on it. Guess we shall see over closed season and into March.

Hello. Have a a look on Thorpe Parks website for exact details on the packages.if you are just wanting to make sure you get on everything I'd say you don't need it as you can normally always get on everything once even on a busy day. If you are anticipating multiple rerides on everything then I'd say get it. https://www.thorpepark.com/tickets-passes/extras/fastrack/

Also visited the other week. Have to say I agree about the polish queue jumpers. Certainly runner up in that field only to Port Aventura for me! But such a great atmosphere in the park it didnt ruin it for us. Shame about Hyperion. I only rode on the inner seats as if heard it can be rattly and found it extremely smooth. It think il only ever ride the inside now. What was wrong with the chicken place? I found my family bucket I had almost to myself rather tasty.

Great deal. Might actually consider one for next year seeing as I thoroughly enjoyed my visits this year! Great to see that it can all be finally done online. Didn't you have to go to registration days before, which seemed awfully faffy for us southerners?!

Zadra - A review (UPDATED!!)
Mattgwise commented on Martin Doyle's blog entry in Theme park waffle with Doyle
Still detest is even though we got the back more at EnergyLandia more than we ever have at any theme park?? 😂 -
Yep you can't beat early to mid 00s Fright Nights! Such good times as a teen back then!

3 isn't many you are right, but for years it was just literally mazes, no scare zones and shows as such. So when you look at it like that it's still more "attractions" as such. For years people complained about lack of scare zones and shows. Plus i'd say you're likely right that Covid is still having a small part of the reason for less mazes.

Line up announced. Interesting the way the video 'freezes' at the end. Scare zones include: The Crows of Mawking Meadow, Lycanthorpe vs Amity High Love Bites The Swarm Invasion Creek Freak Unchained Shows include: Legacy Fire and Light Show Birthday Bash The Crows Mazes: Platform 15 End of the Line (last year possibly?) and Creek Freak Massacre are the only two announced in the video. One more to come... https://www.facebook.com/27217550866/posts/10159375714555867/ Thoughts? Discuss...

Sorry Dom, I'm confused as to why I would like the part you've tagged me in? Very confused?

@Martin Doyle I thought you loathed Thorpes modern day Fright nights 😝 Gotta love the dig there! Tbh I'm just looking forward to actually doing some Halloween events this year!
