Don't expect X to be open on the 14th March (or Annual Pass Day)

Slammer
Because it's closed more than it's open. Baring in mind it had about 12 weeks worth of downtime in 2012 in one period which in turn is almost half the season. How anyone could condone a ride that barely scrapes 50% ride availability when nearly every other ride except Stealth And Slammer has the average of 94%-96% ride availability. What you have to remember RideAddict, is that maintaining a ride that has a VERY low ride availability percentage is VERY expensive. Hundreds of thousands have been spent on that ride over the year and whilst Merlin are wasting money on a ride that will break 10 minutes after it's opened we aren't getting money from the engineering budget spent on things that are actually worthwhile.

Why is it orange? Does look somewhat ghastly.

Opening Times
ORRRRR, Ministry of Sound could only do those dates... MOS is one of the most popular club's in the country and the DJ's are likely to have a busy working schedule.

Just like to point out, the rope has been there from day one. Originally it was stored in a bag at the top of the rides platform and the bag would be released when they need it and rope would cascade down to the ground. Which can be seen in a red bag in this image: Courtesy of Total Thorpe Park/Google for the image. After a situation where the bag rusted and split causing the rope to tangle in the track it was decided to have it permantly affixed to the support and the base of the ride.

The Smiler
It will be funny if the entrance does have 'standard' & 'fastrack'. What a way to make people feel like minorities

The Smiler
The smiler app is now available, I'm downloading it as we speak!

Park Music
It also plays on The Beach, Depth Charge and Flying Fish area (or at least a very similar version). And like Mccy said, drove anyone on there crazy also.

Jobs..
So was casually eating a bag of crisps today when my phone rang for a phone interview, most awkward thing ever trying to pretend you haven't got a mouth full of crisps when answering the phone.

The Smiler
We had this debate in the chat room last night, it is not an inverted drop. You drop.... You enter a corkscrew/zero G You take a second drop Inverted drop, your completely inverted when making the drop I.E The SWARM. The Smiler - You drop, make a 180 banked turn into a corkscrew/Zero G roll make about a 300 degree twist before making your next decent. You are not upside when making the second decent on either of the lifts. I have just taking this description about a Dive Drop/Inverted Drop:

I had one for years with 'Looking Sexy, Keeping Dry' on the back of it, it didn't break but my cat pee'd on it otherwise mine would be going strong 10 years down the line!
