It is a modified version of the Towers Street music, I can certainly confirm!

The idea of that was they were going to install a whole queue line music system, wires are still visible where they dug it all up to install, however even after installing the new speakers, the wires just never got attached. Pity, but I'd imagine they will finish it off one day.
  3. Yup, it was just the Marketing department changing where they measured 0-80 in!

Who gives a toss about who works for who?!Since when has this had any significance in any argument whatsoever?

BUMP!Bubbleworks now has music playing on the exterior, Monkey and Bird walk now has some african drum music playing, Market Square has a new area theme however not different tracks, it is a 5 minute loop. Lodge (old North gate) and Explorer (South gate) has an edited version of the Towers Street music (not sure which year, think it is the best known one though).Penguin Bay however... has a mix of TP tracks playing. Have heard Lower Dome (gentle music), Colossus Station Theme 2007, Nemesis Inferno loading music and also a slightly edited Colossus announcement telling people to stay off the rocks.

Rameses has a wired fountain box set off, it must have been something totally random he bought out to try and scare you.So you're all disregarded!

Steve - themeparkmad used the word 'Adventurer' as staff are now meant to refer to them as Adventurers, instead of guests. As I said before, leave the personal comments off the forum.Very good to see the positive feedback about the new theming!

Cola Coaster has parts on order, won't be too long until they get in and get fixed. The bubble machine has been put on maximum level since opening weekend, making the station very... bubbly.
  10. Whoever said that was good for business..

How is it wasted? The ride is awesome, regardless of wether it has no effects, no guest interaction; it's a pretty cool coaster. It's slightly forceful without a proper lapbar!
  12. Anyone see a blonde boy shooting up and down the Vampire platform recently?I heard he's quite good.

Maybe my point was slightly mis construed.. I was pointing out that Chessington can simply install small things such as a pisspoor aquarium, or move a few rides about and add a small capacity flat ride and still have a stupidly big increase (2010 AP day being just over double the gate figure of both TP and CWoA's in 2009 and TP's 2010 by quite a long way I hear) on gate figures. And neither did they retheme a boat and call it their new ride! You idiots are all getting trolled so hard! Can you not see this? Do you think I SERIOUSLY think this?

What was Thorpe's gate figure though? It's in comparison to the bluntly obvious difference in target market. The little kids and family who think it's huge and mega etc, love it and they queued for that long for it. It was well taken, very well presented and attains good queues and a good soaker, something which Beano lacked. Regardless of wether or not that it's a huge signature ride or something for kids to enjoy and say is actually something the park needed, is really good to see getting installed.Oh, and every single ride opened on time today aswell, which I presume isn't something Stealth did at all today? I would much rather go to a park that can physically open their rides of time, instead of continuing their lacklustre engineering. And nothing, Dan I think you may understand at the grand age of 10. Operationally, you can't comment really. And I'd imagine if they installed a boat, it wouldn't break down every few hours.

75 minutes, maximum, especially as it was a capacity day.Which, ironically is the same amount of time you'd wait for a pisspoorly themed rocket caster on a normal day at TP.

  20. Rain will deter about 1% of the gate figure, if that.People won't wake up and think 'oh it's raining, lets not go to our day out that we've all been really excited about, and wanting to go for ages'.You aren't - and as much as fan people in general may think they may be - different to anyone else.

That is probably the most intelligent post that has ever been posted on TPM.Ever.

What positions though?I presume Onload 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, Offload 1-6, 6-12 and an Exit Monitor?

It was never ever said to be new, neither was it said to be from Chessington, tpkabz?Interesting to see that they moved one ride across, will be interesting if Jungle Coaster goes there as a swap.
