If you shop here, I despise you. You are all such rude, arrogant, nasty and wilful people, and I really hate working there.****heads.
  5. Zoo is fully open up to Market Square, with the Safari Skyway and Seastorm operational every day. Park is closed off from Skyway Entrance to Refresh in Transylvania, and between the back of Guest Services and the Runaway Train.Pizza and Pasta, the Chessington Shop and Stop Shop are all open as well.

Just t point out that Mr Nick Leslau owns the land the park sits on, and the park rent it back. It's like having a house but not owning the land it's on, and paying the landowner a certain amount each month.

OK, I know I'm a spamhead and I troll a lot, but your post just made quite an interesting point. There is no domain name agency, there is no one that controls the internet, there is no one in the world that can 'moderate' the internet, as if they did, there are certain websites that would have been wiped from the face of the earth the day they were created. Unfortunately, no one will either give a flying one if you like it or not. Most of the people on here are in a pretty tight knit network that exists out of this forum, and only use here as a permanent record for discussion or banter. And again, unfortunately you can't do anything about it. Leave the website if you don't like it; if you had actually made any effort in not making outlandish statements then maybe you would have fitted in a lot better. Most people who have come across you before have heard the same old rubbish, especially on Theme Park Junkies (RIP), and everyone is prtety sure it was you who migrated over here. So, I'll leave you with this.
  8. New Fury control panel!

And for a bonus point, Jungle Coaster will be moving to another UK Merlin Park.
  10. Lets do a bit of a hard quiz for all you CWoA geeks! Simple as, PM me the answers and I'll put the answers on here once we get 10 people replying! Don't complain about it being hard, it's meant to be!1) Two things were removed from Pirates Cove in 2008 - 2009 closed season. One was something near Buccaneer, and the other was near Chip Ahoy, what were they?2) What is Squirtalots' full name and where can you find him? For a bonus point, where is the control room for it?3) What was the highest gate figure this year?4) Dennis' Madhouse originally came from a different location, however it is only 1/3rd of the original attraction. Where was the old attraction based and at what other Merlin park is another third of it located? (Name, park and area name please)5) Toadie's CRAAAZY Cars used to have how many cars and how many does it have now? Where are the others?6) Where was Frazzle located before and what has taken his place?7) There are 4 different bits of Samurai still left around the park. Name each and where they are located!8) How many Skyway trains are still at Chessington?9) How many Cars can Dragon's Fury and Rattlesnake run successfully in guest operation?10) Name the location of each of the two in ride cupboards on Tomb Blaster, and what interesting memorabilia are in them.Scores so far:Peter - 11/15Mark - 13/15James6 - 8/18Rygr - 11/15

The Bobsleigh looking thing that is sitting next to Monks Walk, M25 side of the park is about 15 years old and (I presume) was used for boat moving from one side of the lake to the other.Got jack to do with the MTDP?

I wouldn't recommend the park for anything past a nice wonder round some well landscaped areas. Some OK rides but it really isn't targeted towards us, however it does have some well kept grounds.
  14. I'll come up on Saturday evening for about 7ish, any takers to meet me at Waterlol will be greatly appreciated!
  15. Monkey Swingers' Panels for the ride top have been brought back and are waiting to go back onto the ride.. and the Tuk Tuk Turmoil had been set back up.

When I click 'View new content' it only picks up one or two threads and when I post, and a reply is showing; I click 'View new content' and it only picks up a few of the old bits.Using Safari 4.0.4 on Mac OS X 10.6.2 if this helps, but the button just doesn't seem to work properly!

I think they sold 300 tickets, not 20 - ClickyTHORPE PARK will always disappoint you however if you go there to be disappointed then you can avoid disappointment by going to THORPE PARK if you know it will always be rubbish.
  20. Every ride is test ridden by one staff member, once a day to ensure that there are no strange sounds or smells encountered in the ride by lifts, motors, restraints etc.Staff are not allowed to ride the rides when there are guests on park, however sometimes for special occasions such as birthdays, staff members leaving etc, first day of season, last day of season.Staff are also used to warm up rides, for example 4 days before the season, staff were paid to ride the Dodgems in Beanoland for hourly sessions daily, to take the rust off of the track.
  21. Yup, they are identical designs.
  22. Full days, as they pretty much only employ over 18s there.
  23. Chessington is a cheap area to live, however obviously only appropriate if you work at WoA, however Ashford/Feltham is quite cheap but quite nasty.I wouldn't recommend moving down just for a theme park though.

Hand the shoes to the operator, and then they'll have a huge go at the person not listening about shoes.
  25. You could have still purchased them, yes.
