You seem to be forgetting the fact that the Black Eyed Peas have ripped off a good chunk of their songs from other people.

I think that the problem here is Merlin being lazy; they have a monopoly over the theme park market in England so they probably see no reason to have another coaster like Nemesis until there is competition within the industry. The other parks simply don't have enough money to build something which would be defined by most people as world class.

Last time I checked, it cost £100 to renew my standard pass last year. Prices have not gone down for renewal. Marc, the main problem people have with this is the renewal prices.

Best one so far:On the 5th day of christmas MERLIN gave to me.5 pound extra parking.4 more restrictions.3 returned passes.2 unanswered phone lines.And parking barriers at chessington.

I am tempted to just not bother renewing so I can vote with my feet. Merlin seem to be slowing turning Six Flags with their constant nickel and diming and restrictions. I have a feeling that if renewal rates are high in 2011 then other parks will be time restricted as well. This is just a price hike in disguise really.Only good thing about this has been some of the abuse being hurled at Merlin on their Facebook page.

Top 5 Non - Merlin Rides:1. Bizarro - Six Flags New England:If it wasn't for this one ride, then I would have considered Six Flags New England a complete disaster of a park. It's pretty clear that it's retheme is extremely lazy, with nearly all of the effects broken after less than 2 years when I visited. The queue and batching were pretty awful as well but the ride was so good that I was too busy having fun; long, ridiculous amounts of airtime, no trims until one of the final hills, etc. I can see why this has been voted top on multiple polls for about 5 years.2. Tower of Terror - WDWI love everything about this ride, from the immersive, ridiculously detail to the random drop sequence. I seem to be the only one who like the 5th Dimension scene as well 3. Tatsu - Six Flags Magic MountainAgain, appalling operation by Six Flags but amazing ride.4. Terminator: Salvation - Six Flags Magic MountainJust a lot of fun.5. The Simpsons Ride - Universal Studios LAThe amount of work that went into this ride is insane.

Aren't you getting things muddled up? Greater momentum would mean that there isn't a risk about an incomplete circuit but about excessive g-forces instead. The last helix could be brutal with extra speed.
