Oh yes, I had never seen that before. Part of the queueline must go under the ride. I imagine the TV here is for viewing in an outdoor part of the queueline. I can't wait to find out more about it when it opens .

Thanks for clearing that up with us.

Yes I would agree with that (if you are talking about the main areas), I.e.: Ranger County doesn't and never has had a coaster . It would be nice to even out the park, like you said, and add a coaster to Canada Creek. Is this confirmed?

Also, to add to that point, I think that Lost City has enough thrill rides to be honest . SAW is just the sort of Thrill Ride that Canada Creek needs - along with Slammer. .

I have no idea. I think it would be nice if they created a new area for SAW, and then they could always extend the area over the lake in the future to build more rides. Because SAW it a very substancial ride, I think it would go well in an area of its own. Despite this, I imagine Thorpe Park would class is as part of Canada Creek. I don't know why I think this, just that the theming of the sawmill seems more a Canada Creek style than anything else. Saying this, sitting behind Samurai might class is as Lost City material.

SAW - THE RIDE - Open Day Meetup.
I'm unavailable to go that day but have a great time guys .

Same with me. I love Thorpe Park, and would love to go any day that I can, but living around 2 hours away, I really have to choose the days carefully. I can easily get a lift on some days, but I really do think that the early opening is a waste of time. But I suppose, the earlier the better .

To be honest I think that the whole opening a day early (13th March) is just a waste of time. Only opening SAW and a few other rides, I can't see any point in going. Also, regarding tickets, from what I have read, I think that Thorpe Park are very disorganised for this date. It would have been far easier, in my opinion, if Thorpe Park just forgot about this day, and just opened, as first planned - on the 14th.

I think the scariest part will definately be the part of the ride in the dark, no one knows what's going to happen! I'm not as scared as far as the actual rollercoaster is concerned, I have been on many a eurofighter . This should be great!

I am going to leave it a few weeks before going. Should have died down a bit by then .

Queue Times
From past experiences, I have learnt that on Colossus, if the queue is full up to where the queueline goes under the main walkway, then if on two train operation, will take around 20 minutes. If on one train, will take around an hour. When walking in the direction of Samurai/Saw, if you look to your left, and the Colossus queue section there is completely full up, two train operation takes around 45 mins, and one train operation takes around 2 hours. As Ashley W said, Colossus is prone to down-time, which will often cause major delays to the queueing time. However, some days, Colossus can surprisingly be quite reliable, and not suffer any down-time. It just depends on the day .

True. I imagine that the number of people with AP's is also quite high, so the queue on Friday and Saturday probably won't be much different. Also, if it is busy, you can probably buy a fastrack for SAW for cheaper than £5 on the day .

Very true! I think once completed, SAW:The Ride is likely to go in the record books for one of the best themed rides . It certainly looks like it is heading that way! .

Queue Times
I know what you mean. It's annoying when you get pulled into a queue because of the inaccurate queue boards. But the thing is, once you're in the queue, and people start queueing behind you, you really don't want to leave so you just stay in the queue! That happened with Colossus once, the queue board said 30 mins but we ended up waiting close to 2 hours!

Miss Hippos Fungle Safari
By reading this, I imagine a ride similar to Tami Tami at Portaventura. I think it's a good idea, one which Thorpe Park could easily create. One point though - "as you plunge into the mouth at 35mph", don't you think that might be a bit fast for a children's coaster. Flying fish is only around 20mph, and Colossus is around 45mph!. For this type of ride, I would imagine around 25-30mph. It's a very good, well thought out idea.

Tidal Wave
To be honest, I never really liked the Original Souce sponsership. I thought the sponsership logos and objects added around the ride detracted from its original themeing, and made the ride and area seem less like a new england fishing village. I think the ride was far better when it didn't have any sponserships, and just the theming alone.

Hi, now this is completely off-topic, but I hope someone on here might know the answer to my question. Has anyone seen the musical in London, Jersey Boys?If so, does anyone have, or know where I can find the Jersey Boys script? I have looked everywhere and can't find it. I know this is a very specific request, but any help would be greatly appreciated. . Thanks in Advance.

Traditions At Thorpe Park
£50 for one day. Seriously, that ridiculous. Spend a further £15 or so, and you could buy an annual pass for Thorpe Park for the same price. Comparing it with that, ridiculous.

Have fun to whoever is going tomorrow . If possible, try and get some Saw Pics, or even some general park pics to add to the forum. Get us ready for the main season. .

Great idea! I think he could also say "Let the Games Begin", and the carriage exits the station.
