Agree with that, it's quite scary going up but the drop is nothing, didn't really feel anything, on Detonator I get more of a kick out of it. Just wish it was higher!

The pigeon is so funny! When the ride had some downtime everyone was pointing and laughing at it as it walked up and down the station and into the cannon!

We had an email from Thorpe (To Thrill Nation) and they said that they hoped it would be up as soon as possible

That white paint has been on it for a while already this season, don't remember so much of it being on last season. Going to be sad if this leaves! Great little ride and always went on it when it was open!

The hotels are offering them for like 50 euros for the whole duration of your stay now which is pretty good! Wish I stayed in an official PA hotel rather than a cheap one 5 mins away! Yeah someone was saying to me that Detty was a powered push and not just left to let you drop, maybe Condor should have been built that way It was fairly ok, don't forget though we went in the Euro's latter stages and when the football was on the park emptied like anything! But it was nice to see when they won a match they were all chanting when coming into the station's, chanting on the lift hill and clapping! Wouldn't get that over here! I just think the Fastpasses are so much better over there for what they offer and the price rather than paying £85 to get the unlimited one at Alton Towers in shorter opening times which is hardly worth it at all!

To be honest I didn't see any queue jumping and when it did happen the Staff noticed it and were stopping them getting on the rides and sending them back round to rejoin the queue. Queue times weren't that bad but seeing as it was a 3 day holiday we wanted to make the most of it and get on as many rides as possible in the 14 hours. Biggest queue's I saw was around 2 hours for Tutuki Splash, 1:45 for Furius Baco, 1:30 Dragon Khan, 45 Hurakan Condor, 1:45 Shambhala, and that was Wednesday - Friday.

Had an excellent time last week! The first 2 days we were there we brought the 51 euro express passes and that helped a hell of a lot! 40+ rides on the first day including 15 on Shambhala! Weather was perfect and saw some great shows! Shambhala was incredible, so much airtime, smooth and quiet it's just like the perfect coaster!! I was a bit scared of the height of Hurakan Condor on the first day but was tempted on it on the second day and got standing (Just what you want on your first go!) and it was pretty good but when your dropping it just doesn't seem as forceful as Detonator! Furius Baco was brilliant on the first go but the more you go on it the rattlier it gets and by the last go it was just too painful too ride! Depends on the weather! And you probably have people going that have just finished their exams or on a school trip! Not too sure what the maximum queue would be!

I shall be out there for 4 days next week starting on the 26th! I'll do a review and have plenty of pictures for you all !

I tried that last time I went, that route is brilliant, you can get about 5 runs on Nemesis in the ERT aswell!

They have been on and off of Saw, I've noticed on some visits they have been on but not working, others they aren't there at all!

That's exactly how I felt! I even walked into the actor that stands in front of the doorway at one point as I couldn't see him! Still it's really good now!

Wow! Really good effects at the end, actors do a good job and it's really loud and lots of strobe lighting! Lots of great reactions from the GP when coming out, lots of them like "I'm not going back in there" "that was so scary" "let's do that again!" Love the updates, well done Alton!

I believe they are still doing 2 for 1 entries on tesco's own branded coke, last time I saw that was last night in my local one so should still be doing them!

Anyone else got their arm drenched by the body? I had my hands up on the front left and got a lot of water all over my arm, water was really really warm aswell!

Should have used your passes a bit earlier then! But seems you got pretty unlucky with it, last couple of times it's been fine, I know on Saturday it had a little bit of downtime but nothing major.

£3 for a small locker for the day (can fit a fair amount in), £5 for a larger locker, It asks you for your date of birth and then it will tell you a colour to remember when you want to open it. You have to put birth date in and then the colour and then it opens! They are brilliant!

No water coming from the top of the shed anymore either
