  1. Yes but this year it's been re-themed to Raptor Attack.Looks like a good ride with, now, very good theming
  2. Didn't know where else to put it, but does anyone else think this section looks a little "strange"http://cache.rcdb.com/pictures/picmax/p12595.jpg
  3. Absolutely fantastic report and you really do see what is wrong with UK parks when you see things like that, the theming, the care in all parts of the attractions, capacity, and of course no guests without common sense!Europa has for a while been one of the parks I HAVE to visit and every TR I see makes me want to go more and more
  4. Welcome Peep!Very pleased about another Chessington Fanboy on the forums
  5. Wow, brilliant help guys :)I'm going at the end of July, bit annoying I'll be missing the new area as looked liked like 3 new fun rides, may catch a soft opening though Ha thanks again, very helpful tips.
  6. Again! Gosh... Need to get this issue sorted. One of the worst days for it to happen as well.
  7. See I think they still could have had the inversions possibly not the drop though otherwise a huge building would have been needed. And like you say, a ride on the scale of RotM is always going to be out of the question, but a compact indoor coaster carrying on the feel of the current beginning section would have been possible. And yes whilst the building itself would have cost more, the actual coaster itself wouldn't have been as much I assume ) There wouldn't have been the same roughness as it would have been more smaller, tighter, surprise elements taken at a lower speed rather than the coaster we have now. But I also think that with Saw, it's success and what has drawn people to it has had very little to do with it being a coaster, it's more that there is a ride based on the Saw franchise which appeals to Thorpe's target audience and that is why I think even if it had been a "ghost train" type coaster it would have had to same pulling power even with different aspects of it to market.Just my opinion and how I think Saw could have fulfilled it's potential
  8. ^^ I would mind, I would much rather them at least try something new rather than get a ride that would give an experience in between Colossus and Nemesis Inferno, it'd be pointless beyond belief. Not only that, they just don't add much to the experience whatsoever. There good rides of course, 99% of B&M's are, just that the floorless concept adds nothing more. (In my opinion at least.)With Saw, I wish they had done the whole ride like the first dark ride section, with basically a big ghost train kind of set up. Not particularly fast or tall, just a fast/twisty ghost train kind of thing running in to various traps and escaping by various methods.
  9. Ha Really does sound like you guys had a fantastic day
  10. Ah ha Thanks Benin, sounds like my trip a few weeks ago. They were doing that loading procedure then but I assumed it was down to it being quiet, maybe not.It really was hot today and I bet those AP refills are amazing when it's like that
  11. Queue's, ride count etc ?And do you mean the Jeep around the Explorers Gate? If so that's been there since the start of the season when the entrance was re-done
  12. Yeah I remember it being more "bumpy" when it opened, is it rough as in you bang your head now or... ?
  13. To be honest it was rough when it opened, to the point where a lot of people I've been with refuse to ride it. I can only imagine what it's like now if it's worse. To be honest, something needs to be done if it really is as rough as everyone is talking about.
  14. You can even see details such as the themed lanterns throughout the queue
  15. These aren't from Runaway Train, these are from the back of Ramases.Control BoxAnd the horse that used to be the centre piece of the ride.In both you can see the queueline is in good condition. Actually looks like a "good" queue as it wrapped around the ride in a lot of greenery as well as a decent view of other rides, would have loved to at least have tried Rodeo. Much clearer view of the area from on-board RT but never taken pictures of it.
  16. Ah, great tips, thanks ;)Looks like it's an absolute must to get to Crush's first

I have a school project at the moment where I have to make a video around a poem but it only has to be linked very loosely, I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations for a good, free music and/or video editing software ? Planning on using a lil' park music
  18. Ugh... they need to realise there is a limit between when something is unsafe and just guest stupidity/lack of common sense.
  19. Are there any copies of the previous announcements? And why were they changed ?
  20. Thanks for everyone responses, :oVery interesting
  21. I must say on my last trip just over a week ago, sadly I heard no area music or tunnel effects. :oHopefully next time At least there re-adding all these great little atmospheric touches back to the areas.
  22. Thought this for ages, but only now remembered to ask :oWhy does Nemesis Inferno have 7 rows? Seems that adding just one more row would have been such an easy way to improve capacity. Is there an actual explanation ?
  23. See I like Mexicana, I think the Wild West theme itself should definitely be kept, just a spruce up and a new name :oI would also put Transylvania into this mix, and Pirates Cove... and LoTD if we're going by areas that don't fit the parks brand. To be honest a lot of the park needs decent sized spruce ups.
