  1. Awesome TR, but most excited to see your report from Wicksteed park! Love that place and haven't been in years!Nautic Jets ftw.
  2. I love the zoo I really do, but at the minute I wish they would just leave it and actually invest in some rides!120+ mins for Vampire90 for Fury80 for BubbleworksDon't really think that's going to give many people a good day out and it's obvious what people come for. I do agree though, would love to see continued improvements in the zoo, just not yet.
  3. Compared to some area's of the park, Frazzle is in perfect nick
  4. I think if it was fixed, they wouldn't have made Nemesis such an outright winner, and I would've thought Th13teen would be higher.I am glad that it has come through the favoured coasters are the ones with theming and landscaping
  5. ^ Thank god for that, needing 8 over 16's per ride was a nightmare!
  6. 3 is a yes, it takes admission from £15 to £12
  7. The waterpark sucks, not gonna lie, was bored after about half an hour because of the fact there is one decent slide.A huge shame to hear you had a dissapointing trip though
  8. Experience rides for sure...Like, I love the balls-out thrill rides, but the reason I get bored at Thorpe more than the others is because there is less variation between the thrill rides, than the experience rides at say, Chessington or Alton. So yeah experience rides for the win! Hence why BTM at DLP is by far my favourite coaster.
  9. ^ Yes, it is.I'm having my first trip to DM in a couple of weeks, very excited tbh
  10. Oh my :lol:As if Europa couldn't get any better...
  11. It's a shame that Chessington has dropped out of the top 20 in Europe, but to be honest, it was a miracle it as there in the first place.Very interesting read though...
  12. Ugh, if Merlin are so desperate for a "Worlds First" Tag line I would prefer they built/designed a quality ride and then shoe-horned another meaningless claim on the end of it, rather than the other way around, coming up with a tagline and building a ride to fit that.If they built a woodie with the most airtime, they could advertise it as being the most forceful, albeit in terms of negative G. What annoys me is that a GCI shouldn't really even count as a "Major" investment, they are what £4million-£7million? I would love for them to just take one risk, reap the benefits and realise that making bolder investments with more quality is the way to go.
  13. If I could get there I might
  14. Genuinely don't see the point in a Floorless when we have an Invert, very similar but better experience on the invert.
  15. Awesome TR! Thanks Mark! Can I ask how you got reserved seating for Fantasmic? I'm desperate to see it in the summer! haha
  16. ^ An evacuation doesn't mean something serious has happened, just an issue which couldn't be resolved within a time scale that would be acceptable to keep guests in the train. Wouldn't be surprised if it was up and running again today.
  17. Bear in mind that BGW just got a 240ft drop tower from... Moser... Again a strange choice considering even my very local park, Gullivers, has a (much smaller version) of a Moser drop tower.Still, BGW have obviously been assured that Zierer will develop the goods and I'm sure they will. I quite like the idea of the parks not receiving similar attractions.
  18. Expedition Everest number 1? :mellow:Really? I remember it being pretty average! Will have to get back on it in the summer
  19. Slightly disappointed with that but fingers crossed there still tweaking. Still looks fun nevertheless
  20. Ahh okay thanks . If only we could go back to the days of 0.9m restriction for pirate ships, tea cups and Log flumes.
  21. Have there been further rules from Huss? As I'm fairly sure it wasn't taking 10 minutes a cycle even at the end of last season.
  22. Basically, they're dispatched when they're ready, whether that's simultaneous or not.
  23. Epic :PGlad to see you had such a good time, is making me very excited for my trip there in the Summer! Also, what a great little surprise being selected to be a part of the parade, not seen that done before
  24. Just want to point out that Crush's Coaster at WDS (A maurer spinner) has a 1.07m restriction...
  25. Thing with Slammer, it's ride experience seems so reliant on the restraints, in that...Shoulder bars to tight = Painful shoulders and headShoulder bars to loose = Painful hips/leg areaLap bar to tight = Painful legs/hipsLap bar to loose = Painful shouldersPersonally I've become pretty good at getting both restraints to a comfortable level, and therefore the ride is completely painless, in fact I even think it's one of the best rides in the park.
