Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
Parm Pap's posts clearly say to me that the Derren Brown IP is being extended due to it's incredible success, and the new coaster will form part of Derren Brown Land, featuring the UK's first coaster themed around a mind control man.

Literally zero surprises that there's nothing to see in Old Town and that P15 is still sitting there basically untouched.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
Very true - and that's saying something considering Merlin love the run down/abandoned "theme"! New area should be called HappyHappyShinyNewClean Town.

Alton Towers 2022 additions
What I think would be a brilliant addition would be a Top Spin to eat up those queues! Small footprint too.

Anyone know how big the RAP queueline is for the new coaster please, cheers.

Tulley's Shocktober Fest Scream Park
I don't doubt you, but how do you know this? That would be good if the case.

Rocky Express
This is true. Shawn Sanbrooke has bought it to put in his back garden next to the World of Theme Parks.

Tulley's Shocktober Fest Scream Park
So the first wave of Tulleys tickets go on sale this Friday... VIP last year (well... 2020 price) was £84 plus fees, this year it's £95 plus fees. Quite a hike, and that's from a Tulleys fanboi. £95 will give you, I assume the £10 food voucher, £5 drink voucher and t-shirt (worth £10-12) so you could argue that takes it down to £70 ish... we normally manage 20 or so total run throughs, so £3.50 a maze is still good value I guess! I'm sure people will still pay the prices - I know we certainly will - but this year Tulleys didn't quite do it for me vs. 2019. Think that may well be because we went on day 1 when the staff haven't quite found their footing (or, Tulleys haven't found enough staff!) EDIT: It's now a £10 food voucher and £15 merch token for 2022.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
Just catching up on these new posts - interesting reading and speculation. If @ZeroG is right then hats may have to be eaten, we shall see! I just wonder how Thorpe will promote the 2022 & 2023 season if there's nothing new until 2024 - I guess the answer there, from the market research questionnaires going out is more events... and maybe new for 2022 will be the Tidal Wave fire effect, to pull the punters in? Can't really see Black Mirror having much pull in 2022 unless they stick a demon at the end of it.

Wicker Man
When riding the Wicker Boi at Oktoberfest this year it seemed noticeably faster than last year, was throwing us round the track - was almost a little bit too violent!

2021 Season
See, it's things like this that cost a piddly amount of money but no-one seems to care - OK, so it's only numbers on the floor, but it just adds to the tatty feel of things (and no, that's not theming ) Those numbers haven't been replaced in donkeys. Boring topic, but it's something I've mentioned to @JoshC. before - the tarmac around Derren Browns Ghost Train - from point of it opening - looked awful where there were trenches dug and cables laid, the tarmac was a different colour and looked very tatty/messy - so I appreciate noone goes to a theme park to look at tarmac, but all these little things add up and add to the run down feel of the place.

Black Mirror Labyrinth
I didn't get to go through this eXPeRiEncE in 2021 as we happened to visit the day of the press launch and we aren't important or orange enough to get an invite, and to be honest I can't say I feel particularly bothered. If Merlin can't maintain the projectors in the Smiler indoor queue, I don't hold out too much hope for this.

2021 Season
I think "some" is being very polite 😁 Oh and @Han30 - I only recently found out about the free water from the Freestyle machines, did that at Towers and Legoland! Obvs used to use the water fountains at Thorpe but then a pandemic happened innit! Typical!

Fright Nights 2021 - Spoilers
But the vloggers invited to the Press Night were really impressed with Fright Nights vs. Scarefest, this doesn't make an sense to me No problems with lack of actors that night either, how strange...

Fright Nights 2021 - Spoilers
This is my biggest "fear" - being disappointed with a maze like that... I haven't been to Thorpe FN's this year, if I'd not visited early Summer and had my Stealth fix I might have been more tempted. I'd prefer paying for a ticket that allows multiple maze runthroughs (a la Tulleys) but I just can't see them being able to work that with capacity, especially if they can't even get the timed slots to work meaning people are paying for tickets they can't use.

Maybe Legacy has been installed by the same people involved with the new for 2021 Tidal Wave fire effect 🤔

Tulley's Shocktober Fest Scream Park
Same as Thorpe I suppose! Just looked back and I also managed 21 maze runthroughs in 2019. I am nothing if consistent. Similarly, Coven & Cottage were my bae mazes of 2019 also so I was gassed that they are still up there for me.
-
Fright Nights 2021 - Spoilers
Give me a Tulleys "re-ride the maze" style ticket and we'll talk. I can only go to Fright Nights if I do Creak Freak 8 times as per 2019.

Fright Nights 2021 - 20th Anniversary
