I can't stand 90% of what's in the charts tbh. I'm into metal and rock myself.
  2. Great ride. The only issue I have ever had with this ride is the fact that my head constantly gets smacked into both sides on the restraints. it's a good thing they're well-paddedThis was my first coaster, and I took my gf on this a couple of years ago and I think it frightened the life out of her lol
  3. I'm determined to get on Stealth this year. I only get to TP once a year so I don't want to wait another year lolfrom 2006-2009 the launch scared me. ((launch rides are the only ones that bother me)and last year I didnt go on because for some reason NI made me ill for the rest of the day.But this March I HAVE to get on it lolit's funny how this ride always worried me, because I've been on rides higher than Stealth that didnt bother me at all. it's just something about launch rides lol
  4. Can't wait to get back on SAW

  5. I would love a Hyper-coaster more than anything but I know that's never going to happen sadly.Realistically I would love for Thorpe to get a flying coaster or a woodie but they also look pretty unlikely for the time being. Maybe a floorless coaster (Like Kraken) is possible. As long as the ride is good then it doesn't need to break any records or do anything amazing. Just a regular coaster would be fine as long as the layout is creative. It looks like the theming is gonna be good on this ride though. I doubt it will relate too closely to the 2012 theory because (as many people have pointed out) the ride will look lame in 2013. I expect it might be themed in a post-apocalypse city or something. maybe it won't even have anything to do with the end of the world lol
  6. After riding Detty three times yesterday, is it just me or is it not as forceful as it used to be? Maybe I'm just used to it.
  7. I went to Thorpe Park yesterday and it was practically empty. Every single time that I've been to Thorpe I have wanted a quiet day like this as I love the rides and wanted to get on them more than once in a day. However, yesterday was a complete disaster. Before I explain why it wasn't a good day I just want to make it clear that it wasn't Thorpe's fault. The staff were excellent and the rides were in operation most of the time and there were hardly any ques. Sounds so perfect lol.I started the day by heading to Saw, which was doing test runs. I decided to kill time by going to one of my favs, Loggers Leap. I went on twice in a row as there was no que. Really good fun. Then I headed to Colossus and had a fantastic ride. I know lots of people hate it or find it rough but it's always a great ride for me. Then Saw opened so I decided to get a ride on that. It was fantastic as always but for some reason I felt a little sick afterwards. I decided to go on Loggers again just to give my stomach time to relax. Later, when I felt better I went on Saw again. I felt slightly dizzy again but it was still fun.I think the next ride I did was Rush. I havn't been on Rush in years so I was really looking forward to it. However, I didn't really enjoy it as much as I used to. I just didn't get anything out of it. There were no ques and it felt even shorter than normal. there was no force to it like I remember it having before. This is where the day took a horrible turn for the worse. I came off Rush feeling sick again. It was odd as I don't usually get like this on rides. I've been on them all before and always loved them.A couple of minutes later I felt fine so I decided to try Mr Monkey's Bannana Ride as everyone always told me it was awesome. As there was no ques, I had to ride it twice and I had never felt so ill on a ride in my life. Even if I hadn't felt ill, I still wouldn't like the ride tbh as I didn't get anything out of it. I guess it's aimed at the younger visitors. I think that next I went back to Loggers and even that made me feel sick lol so I stopped for lunch so that I would have time to relax. After lunch I decided to go on Rumba Rapids as it's a good ride to go on after you have eaten but even that made me feel sick. It was really confusing as it had never happened before.I went on Depth Charge later. It didn't make me feel sick but it was kinda boring lol. I used to get airtime on it when I was younger lol. Then I went to Detonator and had a FANTASTIC ride. I always love Detty. Then I decided to ride Nemesis Inferno which I usually enjoy, but this time it made me so ill that I was unbelievable. I didn't ride anything else for a while. Eventually I went back to Loggers and had a decent, non-dizzy ride. Then I brought a mack and had another good ride on Tidal Wave. I didn't even get very wet :Dnext up, X:No Way Out , which (as you can guess) made me feel terribly sick. I was going to head over tol Quantum as I love that ride but I didn't becuase I knew that it would make me sick, just like most other rides were. I decided to ride flying fish as that's a nice gentle ride. After five laps around the circuit, guess what? I felt sick. I was going to go home but it was only about 2:00 and I have never left early before.I went on Detonator two more times which was great and then I did something silly. I decided that I would go on Saw again as I felt much better. This time I actually sat in the front which I had never done before. I found it 10 times more thrilling in the front. It did feel slightly rough in the front but the main drop had so much more force. It was incredible. This was the last ride of the day as when it stopped I felt even sicker than I did on Nemesis Inferno. The train entered the break runs and broke down lol. We sat there for fifteen minutes which was kinda fun lol.I left the park at 3:30 as there was really no point in staying. I didn't get to ride Slammer or Vortex as they would obviously make me ill and I couldn't ride once of my favs (Quantum) for the same reason.I really have no idea what caused this as it had never happened before, but I want to thank Thorpe Park as their staff were absolutley brilliant. I Also watched Time Voyagers for the first time. Made me feel sick for some reason and it was just crap in general imo. 8. I really hope that Saw will be open on wednesday. A lot of people have said that the ride is really rough now. I hope it won't be too bad when I go as it's one of my favourite rides in the park.

Many thanks. It's definatly a unique experience. I wouldn't mind trying one of the more intense flyers, like the one in Seaworld.
  10. I think I have only ridden Inferno once and experienced any mist at all. But it certainly wasn't as much mist as in that picture.
  11. Thank you.Yeah, a lot of website don't work properly on my computer, So I wasn't sure.
  12. I used to always check the official website to see what rides were running. However, my computer doesn't work that well anymore so I can't see anywhere on the website that states what rides are and are not running. Does anyone know what rides are currently unavailable? Also could anyone please tell me what rides have been available this season? thanks a lot.
  13. Loggers usually has a large que when I go. I'm going to Thorpe on the 24th of this month. I know nobody can tell the future, but does anyone know how long the que gets for Loggers this time of year. I'm going on a wednesday so I'm hoping most rides will have ques under 30 minutes.
  14. That sounds ok.. Many thanks for the info.
  15. I really want to try this but I am very nervous. I know I probably sound like a baby lol.I just have a couple of questions as there are a few things that are putting me off this maze. Firstly, I was told that I would be put into a group of other people and I wouldn't have to wander through the maze on my own. Now that people have been on it, I just wanted to confirm that this was true.Secondly, I'm a little nervous about the actors with pig-masks. Without giving too much away, could you please tell me what sort of things they do? I know I sound like a wuss but this sort of thing gets me a little anxious.Thirdly, Is it easy to find your away around the maze? I had a bad experience in a fun house when I was younger and couldn't find my way out. I just wanted to confirm that there's no danger of that happening here. Thanks for your help.
  16. I'm going next wednesday. Hopefully the ques won't be to bad.
  17. I went on it once and really enjoyed it.
  18. I really loved this park when I was younger. I really wish I could be 12 years old again so that I could go back to the play area. That was so much fun lol. However, if I did that now I would look like an idiot lol. I sound like an old man lol :)I havn't been for about 5 or 6 years so I havn't ever been on Cobra or Edge. I might go back one day just for the memories. I always really loved the log ride and The Stinger. It's an amazing place for families and young thrill seekers. If I had kids I could use them as an excuse to go back.
  19. WaterLennon or McCartney?
  20. One of my favourite rides at Chessie. I really enjoy the lift hill becuase it goes up so fast you don't really have much time to think about what comes next. That made me nervous when I was younger lol. There's also a lot of decent airtime on the ride and the track layout is great imo. Sadly, I only got to go on once last year as it had an hour que. I really like the section where the ride goes very close to the ground and provides the sensation of "OMG it looks like I'm gonna hit the floor" lol. Also the first drop (and second) is really fun and full of airtime.
