Oakwood for me a great weekend away!

I rode for the first time today and have to say I was very impressed! The theming was excellent and the water and fire effects really added to the ride. The queue line is a lot more enjoyable than before and the whole ride in general feel likes its had some much needed attention paid to it. Well worth the money spent!

Yeah yesterday inferno was really!!! It was clearly creeping a few people out :/ Didnt sound like a ride that had been well checked and maintained over winter!!!

Perhaps the new Detonator sign will be updated as the angry birds theme is put in place? I thought it looked good but I agree slightly bland, this could easily be because Thorpe are trying to avoid angry birds theming!!! Rush did have two arms going at some points, perhaps an issue developed later on??? Zodiac also got up and running later on although not with guests riding it; a shame that these tests couldn't have been tried the week before. The Cantina extension, new signs and park map points all looked good. Nice weather and not a bad day in the end ... Nice to have the extra hour too

When the 4D cinema was open what were the queues like for it?? Can see them getting pretty long as it can't take many people at a time surely??

Pirates walk through has seven different rooms with different effects and and a story teller robot in each. The story progresses throughout with different parts of the ship and then a big finale on show. There are some nice surprises (see the room before the staircase in particular!) and the finale is also worthwhile as well. Its not really a funhouse but it is well worth doing and we enjoyed it and found it well worth the money!!
