I thought it was much better!!! Really good cycles and also a bit different, really made the Hastings park quite good for what it was!!!

Gonna have to bring this topic back up, was it two or three breakdowns yesterday? One was an evacuation from the track itself. I'm not one of the people that constantly slag it off as a ride but even I think its not great. With such poor reliability and with little current success what should be done next? Maybe some tunneling and upgrades could improve it?

Last night they added Rush and Tidal Wave to the coasters so with any luck they may do similar for these events. The MOS event was great and queues never exceeded 5 mins!!!!

Hi all thanks to everyone that came yesterday!!!! It was a brilliant day. Considering that it was snowing during my last meet yesterday was quite a contrast. During the day it was great to chat to everyone and to get to know people better, during the evening it was great to whore the coasters and later on was good to have a couple of drinks It was great to meet those from TowersNerd and yet again many thanks to Peaj for making the day what it was!!!!! I cant wait for the next meet and I hope that everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!!!!!!!! Will try and get some pics up soon ...

Halls looks brilliant but I agree with Brunel it will cost a lot, I'm planning on Imperial this Autumn and the halls range from about 110-240 per week!!!!!!!!! Still, its only one year and theres plenty of places in London to get a job

Personally I think this would be a great idea! Although it may not be the best ride in the world it offers a medium sort of thrill between Flying Fish and the big coasters that Thorpe has always lacked. It would offer a fun ride to those looking for a non looping coaster and will probably not be missed at a park like Alton where there are almost coasters to spare!!! Its also a good enough ride to warrent keeping by Merlin

Hopefully they replace it with another topspin and not a new ride all together. Its looking pretty old and so probably wont be repaired but topspins work well at Chessie! Would be sad to see it replaced with a less scary ride, Chessie needs it for older visitors!!!
