THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Lets not forget that by the time we make it to the station we could have been stood for an hr+ in the rain anyway!

Ride Development
You know the entrance bridge over to the dome? If you look under that, there is a floating office, in which lives a troll.Staff at Thorpe give said troll random drugs that are confiscated by security and in return the troll draws up plans.

Stealth
It would be interesting to see if any of "The edge" signage and logos are still kicking about....that would be an awesome present from thorpe to Thorpe park mania!

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Not posted on here for a while as I just seem to read the topics rather than reply.Having lost a love for thorpe over the past couple of years, this project has really got me excited again. I think that Thorpe have actually outdone themselves on this one in every aspect of the ride. The swarm will be a great addition for crunching up queues as well as ride experience.I normally have such a (publically) negative attitude towards Thorpe, but for the swarm, I applaud you

Europa Park
The pictures don't do it justice. I saw it in person last week and the view as you come towards the park from Colleseo is amazing. It really dominates the Atlantica area and the footprint is huge!

Alton Towers News
And we all thought the placing of storm surge was random until we saw this map

Europa Park
It is believed to be opening in mid April, I'm off over there on 11th April so will keep you posted!

Europa Park
Of course they check the heights of people, I've seen the hosts doing this loads of times. Especially the hosts and the entrance to Blue fire and Silverstar.Europa are doing more park wide improvments this closed season and have a new dark attraction for 2011. Can't wait to go back there, love the place!

Merlin Annual Pass 2011 Restrictions
Merlin are creaming money from Annual Pass holders, they have to open the park and run the rides regardless of whether annual pass holders attend or not. It doesn't actually cost them any extra to have the pass holders on the park. the Pass holders then spend money in the park (lining Merlins pockets). It's in Merlins interest to keep pass holders happy as these are the ones that will spend more and more on merchandise etc.Personally, I wont be bothering to renew unless the free parking is included. My average trip to Alton costs enough with Fuel, Accommodation and Food etc. I don't want to have to pay an extra £10 for a day and a half worth of parking ontop. I think I might get a Europa Annual pass instead, can get to Europa from where I live for roughly the same amount.

Rant
And on that note...PCSO'S really annoy me as they can't do diddly squat..get themselves into situations and then call real police officers to help them out!

What To Do In The Queue
I normally browse twitter and Facebook on my phone. I do wish the merlin parks would have BTOpen Zones in them, that'd be awesome and keep me very happy!

MTDP
I totally missed this until Fever pointed me in the right direction.I'm excited by the expansion plans. I think that Thorpe will be adding the more marketable of the 2 coasters in 2012 for quite simply one reason, The Olympics. 2012 should see a big increase in visitors to the attraction anyway but with a new ride it'll give them a chance to show off. Also, what's the state of play with the hotel? Once the 2 coasters and 5 flats are built, there will be a very good line up of rides and I'd imagine Thorpe would want to attract people from further away, even into Europe. Afterall, they are perfectly placed to run cheap transfers from Heathrow to the park.Chessington is now called Chessington Resort...How long until Thorpe follow suit?

SAW: Alive
All they need to do is add red arrows that appear to be written in blood on the walls, that would work and not spoil the theme

Th13teen
It opened early afternoon and currently has a 2 hour queue!
-
Kobra
Queue for th13teen was a lot shorter ha ha!
-
Th13teen
It's a great ride for families, nothing more I'm afraid.Queues today were epically short all day, should it really be like this for a SW even with good throughput? Was fun, also added lightening effects in the crypt today, can see that there is something inside the queue line that hasn't been finished yet, no idea what it is though!

SAW: Alive
For me the highlight was walking into the actors changing rooms ha ha!
