I've been having a think about it and realized. Isn't the billboard compensating for the fact that the firetruck didn't live up to its expectations? It is directly behind it to remove attention that the fireball doesn't go off every time?
Yeah, it is still bringing in the punters. I think this is a mixture of the low capacity (I saw that but it quite a lot) and the Franchise that keeps the queues so high.
IKR they never have the water on, is it for a specific reason? also how do people loose hats and stuff on it? Actually now that I think about it, it could be hats and stuff causing the water to spray or something?
That just wouldn't work. Indoor rides and outdoor rides are designed differently. 1) Wires and metal wouldnt be as protected as it would be if it were outside and 2) I bet the supports look horrible.
Ok I haven't posted in a while but I thought I show start again.
1) for the queue system they are probably going to use 2 types of card. Front and back depending on what you ask for in the mini queue or buy specific fastrack.
2) I don't think anyone has brought this up yet so I will. How are they going to take the pictures? They will have to install another set of cameras. Also the onride videos (if they ever work) will have another row missing since the very back has been turned backwards and there is nothing in front of it.
The links dont owrk for me, and your right it is an internet explorer error. although look at the home page, http://planning-docs.lambeth.gov.uk/. Internet Explorer style page under construction notice
Its almost like they are trying to make it too fast to quickly as it reduces from the middle to the end of the ride. I remember going recently and commenting about the judder cant remember when it is happening during the swing but it is worrying.
I wonder If they will be selling the tickets on the day. It seems like Thorpe to only sell 70-80% of the tickets advanced and 40-30% on the day (yes it did estimate they will sell 110%)
