The thing I hate about ride sponsorships is the often do a crappy job of it (Dragon falls with billboards in the tunnels) the last good sponsorship I remember is Bubbleworks and imperial leather (although everyone hates that for some reason ) and maybe Rumba rapids although they didn't 'Un-sponsor' it very well..

Were you at Thorpe on the opening day? Half the queueline they had only just finished painting in the morning and was still wet!

Knowing Merlin and their timing, they will do it all in the last month (scorpion express) so probably haven't even started

Picture from TPG, this scorpion looks pathetic :/ I at least through it would move or something, I'm hoping they have absolutely loads of theming to go in, its like a brown flying fish with some MDF sheds around it. (look in the background of the pictures you can see whats on the front of the back edging) But on a plus point they have some rocks..

I swear the roller coasters have to be designed with the speakers on? I'm pretty sure 2 speakers in every seat and then the controllers and batteries would add some extra weight to the cars which may cause problems

Just leave the rest of the ride there except the rocks? That sounds exactly like what Merlin have done with Dragon Falls...

like everyone else says, thunder river looks amazing! I also niticed how amazing the show looked at the end, no cheap banners or a couple of ramps, that's how a show should be!

That "center" isn't new, I've been to it for the last 2 years (when I go with my family) that I must say is a lovely shot since it hides all the massive queue line taking up most of the room. Although it does go pretty fast! Faster than some all of the ride queue lines

On a different note, they clearly made an effort to theme that ride, so 1 up on merlin actually theming a small rollercoaster

When I was a kid my mum always had to go with me even tho she wouldn't ride anything... People don't just choose to go on their own not to ride anything, lots of parents have to go, along with guardians and helpers.
