Mingo might be ok actually because the "resort" is all self catered caravans. Which are allowed to open around the same date. Others will initially struggle potentially. But it was always going to be a long road back considering how we dealt with it in the first place.

Given the line up at the park already, to say they don't have any "stand out" rides would be a strange viewpoint. I mean Griffon is a bit meh but Alpengeist still exists!

Looking at those parks, you'll need a car. Phantasialand is probably the easiest one by public transport. Walibi is doable but no idea how good the transport is. I think Holiday Park and Toverland are dreadful for transport options. Might have improved though in recent years. Europa is doable but even then. Takes a very long time to get there. I've taxi'd to and from airport and that takes an hour so dread to think on what public transport is. Also no Efteling am disappoint.

DLP? Though again it's completely generic in the main thoroughfare until you hit Phantom Manor. I think half the issue is with a lot of the more common themed areas you either that complete over the top ones or half arsed thrown into it at the last minute nonsense.

The 'Definitely 100% Totally Going to Happen' London Resort
Benin replied to Liam T's topic in UK Attractions
6.5 million people in a year seems... Optimistic? Unless they're playing the game of visitors to the resort generally rather than just to the park section of it. -
If Ultimate remains closed then there's very little attraction to the park for anyone over the age of 10, especially with Mingo as a valid option.

I didn't mind the vest restraints on Valkyria. Though I did have a lot more padding back then compared to now. Can't imagine they'd suit an Invert though.

1. Hex - Alton Towers I mean, obviously? 2. Hotel Embrujado - Parque Warner What do you get when you cross Tower of Terror's theme with Phantom Manor's story? This is a bit of a hidden gem at the park and not spoken about anywhere near as much as it should be. 3. Defi de Cesar - Parc Asterix First time I rode this was 11 years ago! It's so random and weird when on full operation it kinda works but shouldn't. Unfortunately the last time I rode it a lot of things were broken and the Madhouse itself was in a bad way (seems to be a trend). 4. Villa Volta - Efteling Tricky one. Madhouses are tied to the story of the ride far more than many rides and there is a great story behind this one. However the way in which it's told struggles greatly, especially when compared to Hex or Hotel Embrujado which avoided a complicated story to suit non Spanish speakers. Ride was also showing its age the last few visits. The animatronic Hugo though is still fab. 5. Haunting - Drayton Manor Bat. On. A. Stick. File it under the "so bad it's good" folder, although it's been YEARS since my last ride so the cheese has probably gone from the story (last time it was still the vampires!) Loses points for throughput/batching issues. 6. Merlin's Magic Castle - Walibi Holland It's alright I guess. There's a story but I couldn't tell you what it's about. 7. Le Palais du Genie - Walibi Belgium I have been on it but remember nothing. So mid table. 8. Houdini - Bellewaerde Another I have no memory of. Ok I guess? 9. Magic House - Gardaland The "Pervy Wizard House" is peculiar. It's actually really well themed and solely focused on the park mascot Prezzomolo. Starts with a huge lift pre show within the massive tree in the centre of the kids area before another pre show with a giant animatronic dragon. I've no idea on the story though which is where Madhouses live or die. I also dislike being stared at by a wizard. 10. Maison Houdini - Rainbow Magicland Italian's love their underground Madhouses. I don't remember much of this apart from being able to walk right about the ride as the lifts were in two separate buildings with nothing in between. Strange park. 11. Feng Ju Palace - Phantasialand So boring. Please bin it soon lads with the rest of the China area revamp. Honourable mention for Fluch Der Kassandra for being a Mack and having an amazing soundtrack.

I don't think I'll be very happy after riding it [/obviousjoke] I initially thought it would be another Studio 100 show but it... Isn't? Like. I'm so confused by this. Why are they doing a Walibi?

After last year I honestly can't be bothered to plan anything.

Lol Rita isn't even the worst coaster Intamin have built. Every company has poor coasters, Intamin have had to buck their ideas up with the emergence of RMC and Mack particularly (is it any wonder the new Intamin trains have a stark similarity to the Mack ones?).

He, much like other YouTubers, are slaves to the algorithm. Stop posting videos for a bit and then suddenly your viewership (and revenue) drops considerably. I think he's one of these people who became a bit of a favourite whilst working at Towers, and he took full advantage of that, allowing his fanbase to be in a good position when vlogging became such a major thing (I remember when the "Theme Park Room" was one of the most cringiest things to ever cringe). My experiences of him have been limited (even if I accidentally appear in one of his vlogs in the background), but it's not been great admittedly. Being loud and annoying in the middle of Nemesis entrance area and then kicking off because he and his group weren't allowed to be the first on MRAWS. There's certainly an edge to him which was put under the spotlight this year. Unfortunately (and this is a larger trend), the fan base of said creators are perhaps some of the strangest of beings. The mental gymnastics they will perform to support someone because they've gotten involved in shenanigans is often a sight to behold. All in all, even if it was technically work related, travelling across the country in the current climate is certainly not a great idea. Though half the issue is down to the poor handling of this pandemic from our dear leaders.

If it doesn't have a 5 minute section on the fab operator's chair then it's not worth watching.

It's fairly close in line with DLPs pass now. Particularly in price. Between MAP and BOGOFs being the main way of getting bodies in the gate and finding out it's no good for the long term of the parks it's no surprise they've finally caught on. Just buy a Plopsa pass and do a mini tour of Europe. Tasty tasty discounted entry rates. Though that'll be ruined by other things unfortunately. In terms of supporting UK parks, I'd have gone to LWV but they closed Ultimate. Truly cutting off nose to spite their face.

Chessie are digging itself out of the pit Tussauds lead it down by... Bringing back a ride Tussauds built. Again, trying to appeal to some sense of nostalgia to a ride to gain some clout in enthusiast circles. A "pet project" that will essentially result in said person's involvement making it all about themselves as opposed to anything good.
-
Imagine admitting to being one of the people behind the Tomb Blaster revamp. Then imagine how bad an attempt at squeezing nostalgia out of the original would be.
-
Like Baco but with a good ride attached to it?
-
Someone left Roland alone in the design office with a full bottle of whiskey again.
-
Wish it would, I understand simplistic names for rides truly designed for kids but a little imagination goes a long way. Especially if the rumours about it originally being named after an Egyptian god are true. Marketing truly is king at Merlin.

It's not missing, it was only rented. Because permanent lighting costs too much money. Obviously.
-
Considering the space they had to work with it doesn't look like it uses it up particularly well. Plus from looking at this and Zadra, RMC seem to never be too sure what to do with height. Still looks good, but considering the hype it doesn't look like the best one. But then again none of the RMCs POV particularly well.
-
Dunno why it could possibly have been delayed, though I'm sure some enthusiasts will use it as a stick to beat the park with.

That the same World Showcase getting a Ratatouille ride?
