Oh yes... Let's darken this page up a bit...

^But you're still being such a fanboy about Thirteen...Just saying...
  3. Benin replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
Sigh, I assume this is because they don't know every detail about rides? It's all these bloody opinions again, seems to be a running theme on here atm...Thirteen is the very definition of average... The outdoor portion is poor, but the indoor portion is good... That's literally it...
  4. ^Same height restriction, yet completely different seating restrictions is what Mark's on about...
  5. Benin replied to Theme Park bloke's topic in The Real World
Your opinion about opinions is wrong...
  6. Very easily if you think about it... Ok, I'm thinking of rather wilder opinions than "Thorpe is better than Alton" (Nazis for example), but hey, if we're comparing these two vastly different parks then we can compare the difference between opinions of such variance...When I put my last trips to the two parks it's clear to me which is the superior one... But that might be because I don't care about having to walk more than 2 seconds to another ride...
  7. It might be Will's opinion, but when his earlier posts (as quoted by Matthew) state that the exams are getting easier directly oppose his current "Oh they're not actually getting easier" reaction then something's up...There's no need for pointless circular arguements about exams since everyone learns differently and at different paces... I'm crap at exams, hence why I ended up doing a BTEC... But in the end, it felt like the BTEC was a better move since at college it's so much more similar to university and I was actually learning specific stuff to the course I wanted that people weren't learning at A-Level... The proof being that in certain lectures many people were looking rather blankly when some topics were mentioned...In all honesty, you're both being childish... Go sit on the naughty step...

Ohhhhhh dodgy current connector alert...Yeah, I remember doing some army-esque manouveres down the platform to manual release every seat... <3
  9. Benin replied to Phill's topic in Nonsense
    A car, I has one...
  10. QUEUES?! At a theme park? Jesus stop the presses...Yeah, Towers is big, but so are three quarters of the parks in America... Don't see anyone complaining about having to walk 'miles' to get from ride to ride and then queue up again...And I've never really seen massive queues at Towers either... Probs seen them at an hour or so at most... So yeah, you must be timing your visits during busier times of the season...
  11. If exams are getting easier, why isn't everyone getting As and Bs?Also, what's with the BBC only showing girls hugging/crying/ringing parents on their newslots about results?British media sucks... But that's an arguement for another day...
  12. Benin replied to Harry's topic in General Discussion
A 50 minute queue! At Thorpe! In summer?! For a water ride?!*faints*
  13. Where did this middle rows rule come from originally though? Never used before...
  14. Any park ruling that requires a platformer to have to ride in certain cases is STUPID...There's only one exception to this rule in Kennywood as the ride in question is so forceful you need that other person to cushion you... On a pirate ship? No...
  15. It's actually the worst park decision I've seen...I can take on the lack of air gates, but not allowing ACCOMPANIED children anywhere else on the boat bar the middle is ridiculous in every single level...Especially when I've seen numerous 0.9m kids sit in the back row and love every minute of it...
  16. That was even a rule?Lol...
  17. With THOSE sombreros? We highly doubted that we would be approved of...And yes, was an awesome day... Especially the gothic people we met <3
  18. Benin replied to Dan9's topic in UK Attractions
Queues were... manageable, top was 80 for Kobra (though it didn't look it) and apparently that was the highest...Dunno for Vamp cos once did it in the morning that was it...
  19. Benin replied to Dan9's topic in UK Attractions
Though first thing in the morning you should fill up the station a bit more just to get the queue moving...Just sommat I've noticed over the past few times...
  20. Benin replied to Phyciodes's topic in UK Attractions
What does that have to do with Dragon Falls? Please start thinking about what you actually post and see if it makes actual relevance... Comparing a wait in a ride line and in a hospital is STUPID... They are completely different in every single way... On a plus note, the Falls queue now has lots of little proverb things... Only they're very, very amusing... I took a few pics of them today so can put them up here...
  21. Hehe, and I wonder what their reaction would be if they all had to stand behind the turnstiles at the gates causing a massive crush as the park opened...
  22. Did "we"...I think the past 3 years of operation care to disagree with your viewpoint...And breaking airgates is not the most idiotic thing staff at Chessie have done...
  23. Benin replied to Dan9's topic in UK Attractions
No, it does NOT "need" to go... Why Chessie would get rid of their signature ride god knows... Stop being silly... And before you try using Corkscrew again to argue against that, it stopped being a signature ride in 1994...
  24. Because Tussauds are cheap and realised that the replacements for Samurai back then were awful and they thought any cheap ride they could get would be an improvement...Alas, Fabbri are USELESS...
