Wonder if it's a rights issue? And easier for the parks to get IMAScore to dirge out something and then have them for good rather than create completely bespoke from individuals... It's strange because IMAScore do create some great themes... Perhaps it's to do with what they're given by the client as a specification, as the more distinct stuff sounds like the parks have worked directly and constantly to provide something memorable...

Texas Giant (and one would also presume Steel Vengeance) having problems might well give Merlin worries given recent events...

Amazing stuff, though I doubt helped by the difference of regulatory standards... If same thing happened here, HSE would have the site until determination of the root cause was firmly established and the park would prove that it wasn't in the wrong (or try to)... We'd never get this purely because the parks wouldn't care or lazyness...

Likelihood is that any next addition will go in the old place, perhaps they'll build some new flat rides instead? Besides if they destroy the Bowling/Amusements and that entire row of bits they could do some serious infrastructure upgrades...

Continuing the French park theme, Jardin d'Acclimatation in centre of Paris (right opposite side from DLP) are opening their new Gerst Bobsled this week... It's cute (as is the park, it's a small fair area in the middle of the bigger park)...

It's not like they hadn't done something and the point is well made that to get a completely unique system isn't always cost effective for smaller companies to supply for the one person who visits who needs it...
