Even Andy Hine can't be THAT excited over a second hand Pinfari...

Walygator 2017.
Fun Fact: The boat ride around the lake used to be FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES long... This has not changed my opinion of this place, compared to the well-run and well-presented Nigloland so not far away, this is a poor RCT beginner level park...

Chessington Howl'o'ween
I'm still amazed that's the OFFICIAL image more than anything... Maybe Merlin told Microsoft they'd go to Apple if they killed off Paint?

Oakwood
Only delayed by... a year? Means I have to visit now

Pop Badges
I presume these badges are much, MUCH cheaper to make than the Disney ones... It's weird that they sell both types of badges (I.e. pins AND pop) though, guess kids prefer the cheap plastic ones and us lot with more money than sense like the proper ones?

Chessington Howl'o'ween
If that's official artwork/advertising then things are worse than we think... Someone print screen it please? I want to see the exact post (and I can't do that because at work and not on FB)...

Chessington Howl'o'ween
Like balls is Chessington getting something akin to that, it's such an obvious fake (purely because the image isn't over-imposed to buggery like anything Merlin)... Like, LOOK AT THE CAUTION SIGN!

There in lies the issue, cred running parks that don't necessarily warrant cred running (Belleweird has a decent number of zoo enclosures for example), Plopsa is a harder one but I mostly enjoy the atmosphere and randomly finding the Forest of Plop (another must ride)... Horses for courses, I've cred run a fair amount of parks, but I wouldn't look at places like the parks you visited as ideal ones for such a venture...

Chunnel
I've never honestly had any issues with Plopsaland (or the others), sure the operations are nothing special, but they're at least of a standard... More fool you for trying to do such parks in a day really, whilst I've never really spent a full day at Plopsa (and the only time I have was due to a morning tour/talk of EVERYTHING down to the uniform drop) it still warrants far more attention than as a cred run...

Phantasialand
This is a brand new type of Flyer (unconfirmed) from Vekoma, they've had test track set up in Vlodrop for a while, I THINK they were 4 across seating... The main question lies with how the loading process will occur... I always forget this is opening next year too...

Alton Towers General Discussion
TIL that VAir doesn't have a front row queue...

Urgh, your disinterest in high quality shows disappoints me... The Tigger show basically is like any other animal show, person in enclosure making them do tricks... The only difference is the fear/excitement prospect that he could be ripped limb from limb at any possible moment... It's pure car crash stuff...

Park Music
But Tidal Wave is in a 1960s American themed area, ergo they are cannot be the same church... Completely illogical jump to conclusions!

Ride Accidents
There's an Afterburner at a fair near me that's in operation, maybe it is a difference in terms of... something in the models...

Did you only do half a day at Asterix? That feels... poorly organised... Missed out on the fab shows and the silly indoor Victorian area... Ton of Air was very rough the other year, perhaps it needs a retracking because it is a fab coaster when it can be; Oz'Iris is just fun as well, and that queueline is Goudrix is seemingly starting to get more stature now in Europe as "actually not awful", which is good to see, wonder what new trains would do to it? Parc Saint Paul is weird, the tiger show is TERRIFYING, and the PAX creds are ridiculous...

Park Music
Can we moan that the church still has SUCH a missed opportunity in terms of actually creating an atmosphere? The 'story' for Swarm, much like most things done by Merlin, is incredibly half baked and full of numerous concepts and ideas each vying for attention... Rather than a sense of consistency...

Slammer replacement?
I honestly can't remember my one go on a SkyCoaster, but my word the SCAD Tower at Tivoli Friheden was one of the most exciting thrills I've ever done...
-
Slammer replacement?
I'm sure people will flock far and wide for the fantastic views of the M3 and Heathrow...

SAW: The Ride
Towers' uses those phones using the app itself I think rather than like, anyone's phone... So the notifications thing will be hidden in the T&Cs... I hate that idea though of getting a message suggesting I buy Fastrack, the marketing in your face strategy is going beyond ridiculous...

Phantasialand July 2017
Mystery Castle is fab, sometimes a ride is a lot more than the actual, well, ride part... The design of the queue entrance and the indoor queue itself is pretty damn awesome (even with burdenous scare actors in play), plus I adore the ridiculous theatre of the good cycle... Mamba is great until it decides that doing anything interesting is highly over-rated, it's more of a ride of two halves than Thirteen is!

Fright Nights 2017
Well, at least we know Thorpe can do such an experience then...

Chessington General Discussion
Wonder why they suddenly revealed it after so long? Unless someone was leaking it to the press and they put it out there for damage limitation... Fair enough keeping it quiet though, plenty of things occur at parks that ever make it into the public eye... Don't need the likes of PETA jumping on board the Merlin bash-wagon...

Fright Nights 2017
Global phenomenon = Walking Dead Especially given external companies seem to be providing mazes of it to other parks...

Universal Studios Florida
Once upon a time, Ice was one of my favourite coasters... Kinda glad in a way my only memories are of the original non Potter variant, the amazing queue line and actually duelling... Amazing to think that one of the most iconic rides in the world will be dead...
