They'd need to do some serious rejigging if they wanted the entrance elsewhere (like the opposite side of the building), then it's likely that no one would ever find the entrance... It'll be exactly the same building and queueline, just a different theme inside...

Shame most of the land is green belt though... That's a good decision to move Carousel though, it's always been in a dodgy position...

A lot of discussions suggest that DC films get completely changed by the execs at WB, so far as to showing two different cuts of the film to audiences for testing... They are desperately playing catch up to Marvel but aren't seemingly taking the same steps because they're so behind...

I think Smiler started the season with 3 trains, the (new) fourth train only just turning up recently, but I wouldn't be surprised if the park are tentative about it... I can imagine onlookers going mental if there were two trains on the track because people are thick...

I'd say the bigger concern would be any infection to the eyes of a guest if they're not cleaning the vr stuff properly... Something severely wrong could occur (low chance, but not worth the risk)...

There are a lot of similarities in ride and number of staff required between Ghost Train and Terry (also to be noted, the closure last year had a certain incident making any other problems ride might suffer cause extreme caution as part of the reasoning)... In two years Thorpe will have to foot the bill for the high number of staff required to run the ride... It does feel like Merlin never learn that heavy staffing levels do cause problems later down the line...

That Josh has come up with this somewhat baffling piece of storytelling/explanation for events shows some of the flaws of it... Trying to be too clever for its own good usually ends in a mess in other media, theme parks are no different...

Staff reaction to any incident is important, at the bare minimum you must show concern to the customer and do anything you can assist... Should've been straight down to the first aid point and await paramedics if required after initial assessment, with lots of free drink and food whilst waiting...

Avatar land is a worse decision, purely as it's not using an IP of any interest to anyone... This is bad though, short termism at its worst...

Please let us know of all the illusions then (I've got a list below so just add onto it): Pepper's Ghost, a few mirrors and chains for the levitating Victorian train shell, the VR with staff touching your knees and the train crash element on top of the changing interior?

Scariness is of course a factor that cannot be directly measured, but it seems to be the one part of the ride that is being panned across the board... Confusing finales never help dark rides... Even Hex suffers from that if you take the reaction of guests straight afterwards...

Would've probably been better if the Victorian theme was kept throughout, and the second vr section didn't exist...
