Surely the transit system on this is a simple evolution of the Immersive Tunnel (also by Simworx)? A full circuit version rather than about 5 feet of track? I'm fearful that the terms of "ground breaking technology" have been used as a basis of a rather simple evolution of pre-existing technology... Though I am really simplifying the work no doubt put into some of it, from the sounds of it there are many similarities to the Immersive Tunnel system...

Can't be any worse than the current service... #obviousjokeisobvious

But Thorpe's social media team LIED to honest paying guests... How do we know who to believe? Maybe that's the greatest trick of the ride? We don't know if it will ever be truly open?
-
Doesn't look like there's enough detailing, down to the codes above seats telling staff where equipment is... No wonder its a 4.5!

Football is the most popular sport in the world though, that's why it garners the attention so much... Besides, the English national team is crap in most sports most of the time, its often more shocking when we do well in one...

None knows true fear until THAT has been ridden...
-
Sounds like reviews for pretty much any ride though, however we won't get true opinions until the newness and whole "I rode it first" thing wears off and we actually see the thing in full flow...

Those however were official opening days (much like Klugheim yesterday), not a 'wait and hope it opens' day... Even Taron didn't reach that long yesterday (75 mins most of it, opened 90 minutes after park opening)... There's a massive difference between waiting that length of time knowing the ride is open, rather than waiting there in the hope that you get a technical rehearsal...
-
3 hours of waiting in the hope that it opened? I mean yeah it's opened but really? I've never queued for a ride for that length of time ever...

It runs 4 trains as well at full capacity, which I presume will end up in Wodan levels of constant moving in the queue... Tonnes of airtime and throwing around, the second launch is also a standout moment as it zooms above the waterfall... By no means perfect, Mr 9 has summed it up nicely, though some will definitely like the constant relentlessness of it a lot more... Sometimes you need breaking up or just moments to compose yourself (like Nemesis) to make those moments stand out even more...

Truly spoken by someone who's never worked at a park... The only constant in life is that people are stupid and companies need to cover themselves... Which is why coffee cups have "CAUTION - HOT" plastered over them now... The amount of stuff implemented by parks for "poor excuses" are usually for a good reason... Might look and sound stupid (Peeking only loading 6 pods because it'll rotate forever is a great example) but there is usually a valid reason behind it...

Klugheim STILL opened before it though...

I think people on here are fine to complain about the delay(s) in this, especially coupled with a distinct lack of communication from the park and no real evidence to suggest an opening date... From what you hear on the grapevine Merlin's half-heartedness in quality seems to be flying in Derren's perfectionist ideals... Which isn't a perfect match obviously... When the biggest project in the UK has been delayed and we have no real idea why then of course people will be negative... It would honestly be dreadful if we just continued to just play ignorance and live in a bubble on here as a result... Parks should be held accountable for mess ups (not Disney fan level mess ups, where the carpet is overturned), and hence 'negativity' comes in...

I've always found this a strange choice, most powered coasters do coast at some point in their layout (especially ones like Fish), so what doesn't make it a cred?
-
And miss out on a cred? If you wanted to avoid any ride that provided pain that's a damn high number of missed creds...

Shearer as manager? We want things to be more than PASHUN!!! We need tactical acumen to take on the international teams with a bit more panache and skill... Laboured and dull is a byword for England these days... Needs a complete overhaul of the English system though to fix this...

Jeez I hope no one voted out due to all the free movement of people, mean like its not like the EU could turn around a demand that any trade agreement comes with that as a requirement... The stories coming out of people just being general racist tossers is quite scary though... I get the feeling a fair amount of outers expected to be gone in the weekend, not two years... Also, they have a plan but its behind closed doors? No, sorry, not buying that bull... Given we were told by Gove "no one listens to experts" who unsurprisingly predicted everything going a bit pear shaped, an open and honest timeline plan would easily help the markets stop fluctuating a bit and actually get everyone behind at least something... Pointing fingers at the PM shows a lack of class and how stupid the campaigns have been, focusing all on childish in fighting rather than the actual importance of the decision to the public...

According to someone on Sky News, Leave questioned by Downing Street had no plan (you know, the PM who supported the Remain campaign)... And Leave wonder why everyone is so confused and worried... The plan did not extend past the referendum, which is embarrassing for any political campaign, let alone one this major...

Pinfari inverted coaster... 7 casualties already confirmed, the park is going to suffer majorly as it's already looking much more serious than Smiler ever was... Fortunately M&Ds is seen as a funfair more than a full on park, so it might not have a serious impact like Smiler, but that should not detract from how incredibly massive this incident is for the industry...

Problem is, would the turnout of 16 year old be any good? Based upon the 18-24 figures, the answer would potentially be no... 40% turnout does not make your voice heard...

Think the question should go more towards why do young people not vote? Perhaps the focus on grades over life skills in school life is more the issue in that regard... Either that or future elections have a LIKE for Tory, RETWEET for Labour, DM for UKIP option...
