    Went to Thorpe Park on Saturday 14th May and Monday 16th May. The highlight of my weekend was the VIP Coaster Climb on The Swarm. I climbed the lift to the top. The view from the top was great on what was a clear day and could easily see Windsor Castle, Wembley, Heathrow and London. I would recommend the climb to anybody. I found it very informative and it gave me a lot of insight knowledge of the park. I went to the control room were I was given permission to make an announcement over the PA. We then had a tour of the breaks. I also went on virtually all the rides over the weekend including rides on Nemesis Inferno 3 times in a row, The Swarm 3 times in a row. Rush twice in a row. Samurai was also in operation was great to ride and was a pretty good ride to.

    I have bought my early bird ticket. I have also been told it's official MOS DJs that play in the club in London. One thing that does surprise me is they haven't stated the names of the Djs that are playing on the night. My plan is to stay in travelodge as shark is expensive

    I like the idea of the coaster restaurant from an enthusiast point of view. I haven't looked at the menu or prices. Looking at things we may need to organise this soon. What does everyone think.

    Europa Park

    Looks a great Park. Though Phantasialand is top of my list for non UK parks at present my however Europa is on my list to visit.

    Well the media are on the bandwagon again. Articles like these are the main reason I don't buy national daily newspapers. Always the case that when a big incident happens the media start blowing it out of proportion for months afterwards. A breakdown would never have been mentioned before smiler in the newspapers.

    Interesting though the hotel could easily extend the offer to a later date closer to the time. Dont get me wrong if it is open on the 14th I will be there.

    Well I wouldn't have been able to make the original opening date. So I'm not to disappointed that its changed in that sense. I do feel sorry for those that have pre booked. I think in future Merlin would be better not promising an opening date until they know that its definitely relilistic. I have been following this since day one. I did plan to visit Thorpe next month and still may but I just wonder if my visit will include a trip on the Ghost Train. Time will tell. Slightly disappointing but I still look forward to its opening.

    I haven't done fright nights yet. I think with any fear you have to forget about what is in your mind and push yourself in to doing it. I know from experience that by really making an effort to do something I will come away feeling happy I have achieved something rather than going home feeling sad I haven't done something. As for face it alone I have heard a bit about it but I wouldn't let anxiety stop me from doing it.
