  1. It's been taken offline now Didn't see it, what exactly was it?
  2. Exactly! It isnt supposed to be dark.A feature like that waterfall should be lit up with coloured lighting - they should be proud of it and use it to it's full potential. What's the point of having it dark?
  3. What is the point then? The waterfall didn't actually look too awful with the pipes and colours, what is the point of removing them and putting nothing in their place? Surely if they are planning to work on it then they must know when they'll be able to do it- there's no need to leave it in such a dire state.
  4. If that's the case, they've had all winter.
  5. No, I mean no poncho (as in riding it without a poncho) is the best way to ride it!
  6. Yes it is, and I can't see the point behind it!
  7. I knew something was missing! What in god's name possessed them to remove the only bit of theming left in the tunnel?
  8. No poncho is the best way to ride it! They do, although it's official name is just "The Big One" now.
  9. I know, it's amazing! Not sure if you went on the River Caves, but that's only a year younger than the Flying Machines! It's never too cold for Valhalla! I've been on it in minus temperatures with rain and wind all day!
  10. Very good to hear - I may have to make a visit to Chessington soon!
  11. Maybe the rain was causing it to play up that day?

    Slammer

A real shame, but if they know this then it's inexcusable that there is no indication on the website of Slammer being closed.
  13. Posted to the Developers Diary Facebook page today: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Oakwood-Theme-Park-Developers-Diary/321600547955704 "THEME PARK INVESTS £150,000 IN PIRATES SOFT PLAY AREA Oakwood Theme Park is investing £150,000 in a major new pirate-themed indoor soft play area. The new attraction, ‘Hook’s House of Havoc’ will tie in with the park’s £4.5m Peter Pan-themed Neverland feature, and is set to open next month. It is being built by Llanelli-based Crazyplay, one of the UK’s leading creators of themed soft play, and will feature slides, a ‘ball blaster’ zone, a ball pool, a sports court and separate areas for toddlers and younger children. “As a south wales based adventure play manufacturer we are extremely proud to be supplying the new Hook’s House of Havoc to Oakwood,” said Crazyplay’s Mike Broadfield. “Crazyplay has worked with some of the leading global entertainment brands in the past and we can’t wait to bring some of the magic learned from these experiences to the new adventure play area!” he said. The play area is part of an ongoing programme of investment taking place at the park. Oakwood Theme Park director, Dominic Jones, said: “One of the recurring requests we had from families last year was to provide an all-weather attraction for younger visitors which could be enjoyed on those rare occasions when the sun doesn’t shine in Pembrokeshire. “This new soft play area is one of the largest in the region and will provide a whole new dimension to the Neverland experience,” he added. Bosses have also revealed there will be a major new attraction opening in time for the summer, although details have yet to be confirmed. The park enjoyed one of its busiest ever starts to the season during the Easter holidays. “We’re really pleased to get the 2014 season off to such a positive start,” said Dominic. “Our newly-opened Oak Tree Restaurant is proving extremely popular and we are now hard at work ensuring ‘Hook’s House of Havoc’ will be open in time for Whitsun. “We are also finalising details of a major new attraction which is set to open this summer and will be making an official announcement about it very soon,” he added. Set in 90 acres of spectacular Pembrokeshire countryside, Oakwood is one of the UK’s leading theme parks with more than 30 exhilarating attractions; including four world class rides to enjoy. 14. Agreed, I also think it's amazing that the whole park has evolved around rides like the Dipper, National, Flying Machines etc whilst they have been left untouched (apart from aesthetic work).
  15. I was on it last weekend about a minute before a huge clap of thunder.
  16. It's brilliant that you enjoyed the park, it really is fantastic! You should have gone on Valhalla though
  17. It shouldn't affect dispatch times too much really - I know it's not B&M but surely the concept is the same as any other ride that has seat belts? (Big One, Megafobia etc...)
  18. From the picture it looks like it will squish out all the airtime that the restraints are designed to provide...
  19. I can't find an old picture online but I'm sure it wasn't always Atlantis.
  20. The new sign here doesn't fit in at all - then again I don't think that the interior decoration of the dome really fits in. Why is it themed to Atlantis?

    Grand National. Valhalla or Hex?

    This Or That

Neither Angry Birds Land. Beanoland or Wild Asia?
  23. Forgot to mention, I got oil dripped on me from Inferno last week! Is that due to the rain?
  24. Haha, I've seen plenty of rollbacks but never been on one - but I really want to!
