Mixed thoughts on the theme for this, it is an interesting concept but it does seem a little odd to theme a ride on an illusionist - although I'm sure all will become clear. Scruffy Dog seem capable of producing good theming when they are given the right budget/timescale, so lets hope they have.

The psychological tagline being used again? It does sound promising though, and Derren Brown... Never saw that coming lol!

I seem to remember it being on the ride list a few years ago (back when they categorised them as thrill and family rides rather than by area).

Haha, I've always said that everyone is entitled to their own opinion!It is advertised on the map as a thrill ride I think, it is really more of a family ride but the height restriction is too high.

Air as a thrill coaster sends me to sleep, but I don't think I would want a VR headset on it - unless it is optional.

They have released some more photos, and I think it is safe to say that theming on this level has never been done at Thorpe (or any other UK park to be honest); (Pictures from Screamland Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/screamlanduk ) It looks like they have put a lot of effort into this event, really hope it pays off for them!

I hope they don't go down the route of maze charges, I disagree with any theme park attraction being pay-extra and I can't see it working for Thorpe like it does at Towers.

Anyone attending the preview evening was allowed to film, but on normal FN dates you are not, however in some ways it's good - for example, I'm glad someone filmed Asylum as provides a memory and people who never experienced it would be able to watch it. With that said, I don't condone filming in attractions without permission but on preview night it was allowed.

Thorpe accidentally released something and then covered it up with Doctor Who. In all seriousness though, I'm not actually sure what the theme is, that is just my opinion on what happened earlier.

I meant it would have been nice to do that before it closed.Then again, they might not have been expecting it to close until the end of the season, but maybe something has happened which caused it to close sooner?

I haven't been, and yet they are still being deleted! Either that or the new attraction really is messing with our minds!

I disagree with this, it would be much better to give people the opportunity to get their final rides on it - much like AT did with Corkscrew.

This is such a cover up! Really hope it is Doctor Who though, maybe with the help of a certain someone for some of the effects or illusions? (Scruffy Dog of course...) No, several of my posts have been hidden which haven't been pictures.

I would appreciate some correspondence as to why my most recent posts were deleted without warning, they weren't breaking forum rules as far as I am aware. To be fair, did we have any way of knowing that it wasn't a deliberate publicity stunt? After all, wasn't a good idea to post it on a website accessible by the public if you want to keep it under wraps. This could all be a huge publicity stunt tbh!

It is closed all day. IMO it should be open in the morning, even if just for a couple of hours.

Asylum, Experiment 10, Cabin in the Woods, The Big Top (but hugely improved) and BWP with a new theme. That would be a great lineup IMO!

Surely not, I was ridiculed at the suggestion that they would reuse theming from their previous mazes! What was the old dummy out of interest? I also noticed the old dummy from Curse outside the BBQ, but someone took the head out yesterday!
