"We love Primark, it's much better than school"

YES! It is most certainly the same brand or whatever of smoke, I've never found a ride with quite the same pong until now. This is exactly the same smell as 5thD and puts me straight back on the ride in my head when I get a whiff. I even said that a the time to whoever I rode Stealth back row with yesterday as the train in front launched, it hit me straight away. If they made a spray or candle of that smell I would certainly buy it, along with the original grape smell from the start of bubbleworks. The closest I've found to that is KA black grape drink which I buy for a sniff sometimes! As for stealth, it really felt punchy yesterday, although that may be down to me not having been launched for 5 months. Still waiting for that rollback though.

I do hope the not finished part is referring to that cave 'finale', where someone spills a bucket of water.

The distance the seating is stopping from the platform is laughable. It is not exaggerating to say if it gets any worse they will need ladders to get people on and off, in fact they need to be careful they don't end up with some stupid injury claim because asking people to jump that high from an unstable seat on to a wet metal platform is a bit risky. Strangely today I had a good ride, a couple of nice little manoeuvres, but I think this was luck more than ride effort. It wasn't going particularly fast.

I wear whatever santa brings me each year. Clothes shopping - not for me.

I'm on my way...

I would much rather they do this than open up a mess of a park and piss everyone off on the day. Good decision.

I love superball. I got to level 120, then my friends stopped playing it so I couldn't get the keys to progress without paying, and I wasn't going to pay!

In Saudi Arabia all rides operated by a particular manufacturer have been ordered to close after an accident which injured some children, but it does not state which manufacturer. This is as a result of this incident, where a drop tower has failed and fallen to the floor with no apparent emergency braking or cushioning. The seats rotate like the new tower at Paultons, but I can't name the manufacturer from that, it may be a regional knock off company?

I think that sums it up for me. I too was a console gamer when I was young (well, ZX spectrum and Atari ST were as close to a console that existed, then on to the mega drive when they got round to inventing it) and would happily play involving and time consuming games. As you get older it becomes much harder to play like that so quick throwaway games, like those found on phones, are much more attractive to fit around your life. Other than my phone I sometimes play on my Wii, but again it will be simple games that can be dipped in and out of. As the gaming population ages I can easily see mobile becoming bigger than console, it just fits life better.

All a question of taste of course, but seems strange to me how much better the second and dance stages are compared to the main stage. The only artist on the main stage I'd be bothered about seeing would be Chase and Status, the rest of it looks very stale.

How many of you guys are going on Thursday 14th March?

Well jell. I've got to wait a whole extra day! -
If the thud thud thud is back as the floor lowers then forget The Swarm and x. That for me will be the biggest and best improvement on the park this year. Improves the whole experience of the ride immeasurably.

When we were first talking about this referb you were still banned! Just saying. I'm looking forward to giving this a go. From my own point of view I think it will be a shame that it is no longer backwards (I know, not ridden it yet. but I can take a pretty good stab at what it will feel like the other way) and backwards is a feeling that I like and it doesn't cause me any of the nauseous issues others seem to suffer. Think the actual ride aspect could be a bit dull forwards tbh, but if backwards in the dark causes a river of puke I totally understand the decision. It should be possible to do a decent little lighting show on a reasonable budget, the one thing they should try to avoid though is lighting the whole place up too much. Would work best if sectioned somehow, just black curtain or something, to try and stop too much being visible around the building from each brake run. In the real of fantasy now it would be cool if the lighting was in some way interactive with the music and if some effects weren't only lighting, something like this would be all kinds of amazing on the brake runs, and probably quite doable http://youtu.be/nsBuoBi-whU?t=43s Also, in relation to Ministry of Sound, I don't think this was ever really a rumour or on the cards or from any sort of reality. : It was just something that I said as an idea and people ran with it. I'm not saying there isn't one as it seems quite an obvious idea to me, but I think that quote is the first mention of it you will find and it is certainly not said in a 'I think it will be' kind of way.

Forward seats I think is a given with the announced height reduction. No sponsorship mention on the printed map or permanent signage in the done = its not happening. I never saw this mos 'rumour' from any reputable source (unlike the seat spinning on x and swarm).

The Sun. Nectar (mail out to Nectar cars holders). Sure I've seen a couple of others but they escape me right now.

I quite agree, but rather than buying another knackered one like they did with Zodiac it'd have to be a new one with something as forceful and maintenance hungry as a topscan. I don't know that that would be viable financially for something they couldn't really advertise as new.

Think it was said by the park a while ago that it is a gap filler for the delayed Smiler, so it should only be for a month or so.

The biggest loss for me there by quite some way is the fifth dimension. It is impossible to know how much time has clouded my judgement but I adored that thing, it was close to perfection to the 12 year old me.

All of them. what do I win?!

I'm going to Chessington on the 17th already and can't really justify 2 trips in a week. Have a great time though...

There's going to be some parasols? That'll look lovely then. It looks exactly like a block of temporary mobile offices at a large scale road development. I've never wanted to stay in one of those either.

This is exactly what I predicted, expected and feared. I didn't want to be right.

There are a few of us in that rather depressing club!
