The actual source is Dreamland themselves, via their facebook page. Absolute scumbags. They need to get that place properly secure.

The terrible state that 'new' section of the m25 has been opened in probably shook your engine to bits! Better luck next time!

any word on what audio is being used?

No, the game thing which has moved from the arena and dumped in front of the buildings in a horrible way. edit; to the left of this pic, looking all awful and out of place.

Blue portable crane thing they fix samurai with. Often.

It has started running beautifully in the last couple of years. It deserved much of the stick it used to get and a lot of the praise it gets now.

I don't find it as offensive as some it seems. It is what it is, I'm just so pleased to see the cinema, which should never have closed, back in use and everything around it looks inoffensive enough even if it does lack any class or style. I love dodgems so I'm in favour of those too, although if they are seriously going to put fastrack on them we may as well push them in the water as they'll be no use to anyone. Having said that, detonator looks pretty awful and the placing of that ladder game is an abomination. Had presumed it was temporary while the work was done, but there it is plonked down apparently without any thought. Oh dear.

The cheapest way to get tickets is nearly always 'corporate deals', if you can find someone who works for a Merlin affiliated company or has signed up to the 'perkz' scheme you'll get them a few quid dheaper than those prices.

To celebrate the launch of Angry Birds land at THORPE PARK RESORT lets have a sporadic, unofficial, awarded by anyone, TPM Angry Bird Award! To celebrate those amusingly angry posts. In a surprising turn of events the inaugural winner is not Holly... Congratulations Steven Vig. For services to rage and unwarranted aggressive rudeness, you are todays Angry Bird. Feel free to award your own...

Perhaps you didn't make a very clear or meaningful point? Yep, it's still a Ministry of Sound at THORPE PARK night. That's what people are buying tickets for. How? If they are not music dj's how do you propose thew just turn up and do that? If you are any sort of dj yourself you'll know it's a skill, a craft, that you hone over a number of years in the same way you would a musical instrument, you don't just stand behind the decs and 'do what you are told'. Or maybe you can just about beat match and have decided that makes you a dj, so you don't know that. Who knows? It may well be that these two are great club dj's and it just so happens everyone forgot to mention it anywhere on the internet. I've been quite clear that it would just be my preference have a skilled music dj rather than a paid face, based on what MoS means to me (and I think most people) and also on my own experience of these nights myself. As I've said many many times they really are excellent nights, but the one weaknesses has been the actual music. That really shouldn't be the case with anything MoS associated. Again, this a discussion forum and I'll have an opinion based on the available information, thanks.

Well, I've never heard anyone I actually know admit this publicly before... So maybe!

Since then both Swarm and NI have improved greatly, they both run so well now. So... 1 Nemesis - Well duh, it's Nemesis 2 Swarm - Broken in to a surprisingly forceful and satisfying ride. Shame about the back rows still. =3 Air - It's just a shame about its setting, the Swarms themeing and interaction push it ahead as an experience =3 Oblivion - Is so different to the others it is incomparable, but the drop is one hell of a drop and with the original tension building q line vids such a complete package =3 Inferno - Dull layout and waste of opportunity in many ways, but the speed it's developed in recent years has helped hugely.

Noone here has done any politics for two and a half years? Shame on us. Today is the European elections. Go and vote if you are old enough, it's good for you Not sure who to vote for? Here's a little help. http://uk.isidewith.com/results/533396097 Although I wouldn't take the results too seriously, suffice to say I won't be voting ukip and don't believe my views are in line with theirs. At least I hope not!

In fairness I don't know the guys at all, maybe they are amazing turntablists and I'm wrong, but I suspect they are there as faces to smile and wave and shout annoying things occasionally. I am (well, was really) a dj too, so I have a pretty good understanding of it all! A MoS punter would not expect or want the celeb pa kind of thing getting in the way of their night. Or maybe MoS has gone to **** now and that's what it's like, their recent bland digitally stitched together albums compared to the original stuff suggest that may be the case. Who knows? I'm old and out the game now! That's not to take away from the fact that these are awesome nights at all, they really are.

one that is known for (and is good at) mixing a set, not talking between records. That's what ministry is about, what the company is built on, the music. It's what sets it apart from your local time/envy/jjs etc chain crap. At least that's what it means to me.

A crisp advert to look out for in the future... Most importantly, what are the flavours?
-
always sit directly behind the disabled area!
-
TP facebook... I'd rather they had proper music dj's rather than these celeb/presenter types, probably be popular but like so much else it comes down to being promotable over making the best club night possible.

Is it childish to find someone pretending to be asda swearing at customers on twitter so funny? https://twitter.com/ASDA_HelpTeam/status/468859177323233280

When we did that with the mods 'n admin it came back about a mile from the park, didn't it? edit, yeah, it was Egham station! http://www.geomidpoint.com/?ml=51.428825&mn=-0.547876&l=51.6465|51.510538|50.816667|51.428825|51.059771|51.507335&n=0.614665|-0.595041|-1.083333|-0.547876|-1.310142|-0.127683&a=South+Woodham+Ferrers,+Essex,+UK|Slough,+UK|Portsmouth,+UK|Egham,+Surrey,+UK|Winchester,+Hampshire,+UK|London,+UK&cl=51.40777&cn=-0.53696&z=10&x=0&c=1&p=1&r=0&w=0

None of you know what old is. It only gets more depressing.

if only they'd found a way to keep that horrid pile of metal on fire.

Agree it's a bit of a mixed bag but think I'm a bit more positive about it the more see. There's a lot of nice touches and I like that each 'area' seems to have a strong identity in itself rather than being generic ceebebies.

Essex. Feel for me.
