  1. To me, it really serves home-made backyard coaster. They look like utter ****e but they are fun, can't deny. When they have versions is when they look particularly bad with the disgusting metal box supports but I guess it's necessary. Hope they find a way in the future to make them look more aesthetically pleasing because they're ugly as sin still.
  2. Hopefully they've relocated their two junior drop towers and Magma get's relocated to their jurassic themed area rather than just situated on its own. Especially as seeing as they have enough drop towers as is ? But guess we'll see!
  3. 30 rides a day when, without fast track, you're lucky to get about 5 in at Thorpe on a busy day. Europa always raising the standard but what's new?
  4. You would think continuous merlin’s attempts for actor led attractions would make them realise that they don’t last more than a year or two before something’s cut - baffling
  5. It still looks kinda slow but I'm sure its hard to tell from footage like any coaster. It's so pretty!
  6. You know how Merlin like their world's firsts! 15/10 on the pop scale I heard!
  7. LOOOOOOOOL I feel awful for laughing but is this some kind of sick joke? what the **** is that?
  8. Symbolica was super clever! The scenes were really nice and I loved the interactive aspect to it. One point, we were at a musical section and we could control the instruments playing. The pre-show and entrance was spectacular and the queue line is stupidly well themed. I was completely immersed. I would have liked the dancing scene at the end to have gone on a bit longer though. Maybe a bit more spinning, but I understand it’s a ride for everyone, incl. young children.
  9. Dymchurch reminds me of my holidays to the caravan in Kent when I was a wee boy. I got stuck on the ghost train there and had to be escorted off. Good times. Good read.
  10. I haven’t done Helix! But I’ve heard amazing things. Taron doesn’t need inversions and I beg to differ about the ejector airtime tbh I love you too
  11. Front Row ERT at the end of a hot day on Taron >>
  12. - Taron is quite possibly the best coaster I have ever ridden. It has everything. - Black Mamba > Nemesis - Chiapas is exceptional but I prefer Ripsaw Falls overall. - River Quest is wild. Like wtf was that. - Temple of the Nighthawk needs to be binned. - Maus au Chocolate is great. - Europa > Phantasia [/fin]
  13. Went a couple of days ago and it just slowed the queue down. Doesn’t really work on quiet days. Python was stupidly smooth. I sat back row with my friend expecting head trauma and was pleasantly surprised. Baron’s preshow was everything and the ride is really fun. I wouldn’t say it was my fave. Joris and Draak were better IMO.
  14. I really loved this park. The staff were super friendly and the park, whilst small, is super well themed! Troy is amazing and their spinner beats most Spinners I’ve ever been on to be honest. The Vekoma Bike is definitely an interesting one. The new areas opening looked stunning when I visited (from what had been completed). Gutted I’m missing the opening of them in July.

Have they ripped out the old wooden beams? I need a comparison picture.
  16. So rude that this construction is going to be mocking me when I’m there in the next few weeks.
  17. So, it’s crap then, is what you’re saying?
  18. It’s sad to hear how he had himself in such low regard as I don’t think anyone who wasn’t close with him would have realised. I think the first time I met him was at Thorpe and he was such a sound and genuine guy. Whilst this is incredibly tragic to pass so young, I’m glad he came to the realisation that he was admired/well liked, but just unfortunate it wasn’t recognised sooner. I wasn’t expecting his deterioration to come this sudden and I’m sure that’s the case for everyone else, but I suppose no one can predict or expect how quick these things can happen. I can’t begin to convey my empathy to his family or to you Han, especially as how close friends you were and you had to see that unfold firsthand. Losing someone that close to you is an indescrible feeling and there’s only so much to say. Whilst I’m not as active as I once was on here, if you want to talk/chat about any of this, or just need a listening ear then please don’t hesitate Han. Last but not least, I am sure Roodie’s boys will come to realise the level of love and adoration he has for his children as they get older as I know they are quite young and probably finding difficulty in understanding the situation. All I hope in this term of loss is his family and friends can grieve, find some level of acceptance and grow closer as a family in his absence. X
  19. As someone who’s ridden this since it’s opening it’s honestly lost all its charm and the ride cycle is.... well.

It's so beautiful to look at - intrigued to how it rides.
