My highlights of when I went to Port Aventura was definitely Stampida and Dragon Khan, Stampida's airtime from what I can remember is insane and it was my first dueling coaster, it's a great ride! Dragon Khan is very good too!

I'm really excited! As much as I'm going to enjoy the legroom and comfy seats, Nemesis Inferno on the left outside seat is good for me because I can lean or put my legs up to the persons car in front of me whilst ascending up the lift hill

Thank you! Sorry for my excessive amount of punctuation in my original post, it was a moment of distraught and panic. It's just what I was reading and being the fool I am to not even looking into it, I just saw the post had several likes and I believed it. Thank god for that! I was getting worried, thank you for clearing that up! This is getting me so excited now! I didn't think the trains would be literally identical to the concept art, I'm ecstatic for March!
-
I'm not sure if anyone else knew this or I'm just late finding out by according to people on the Developers diary, the helicopter is not actually going to be used?!
-
Genuinely so excited, someone posted on TTF about when it rains and I forgot all about that, looks like we'll be getting wet if we know what the British weather is like but anyway from the angle we're looking at the plane wing doesn't look quite right as of yet!

I've said it a lot over recent months and X is really my guilty pleasure. I really enjoy the going backwards motion but I know a lot of people don't, the brakes in the middle of the ride kills the momentum and should just be removed, I just think the theme was flawed from the beginning, but now considering Thorpe are aiming themselves as a thrill park I suppose it doesn't matter, but at the time when they were the 'theme park' I don't know how they thought X fit in anywhere. Anyway I still enjoy it!

Personally I'd really like to see a Top Spin at Thorpe, they're one of my favourite flats, but that's just me.
-
I'm going to miss the themes

When I went on is it Revenge or Return of the Mummy? In Universal the main queue was 2 hours, my family of 4 went into the SRQ and all got on the same train within 30 minutes, maybe I've just been lucky But whenever I've had to queue for Stealth SRQ it was quicker as well. Samurai desperately needs one, the loading times are ridiculous and I asked one of the ride operators that considering there was a few spare single rider seats if they weren't being used if I could and they said I had to queue the whole way. Because they choose what they sit a lot of the time the seats don't get filled because they want to sit with their friends and then leaves like 2/4 seats unoccupied extending waiting times. I'm not really sure what's going on with rumba but I think it needs some TLC and more opportunities to get wet, everytime I've been on it I've come off bone dry.

Just something haunting but that's just my personal taste Not disagreeing with what Benin posted because I like that as well, just my preference.
-
Would love something like that with church bells and maybe organ playing but not like kinda cheesy or mocking like Vampire at Chessie something which is really haunting, I'm getting so excited now!EDIT: I've found the official soundtrack!

I remember my issue now, it'll probably never happen as they'll have no where to put it BUT MORE SINGLE RIDER QUEUE LINES
-
Is there going to be single rider queue's on this ride then because I might just do that for my first ride cba queuing for 3 hours! But anyway probably right but I wanna try both!

I know Thorpe's turning into more of a theme park for thrillseekers but something like more fountains on the lake and water features like someone else said would be nice to see and make it more aesthetically pleasing The Swarm is on a whole new Island though and it's reasonably separate unlike Lost City and Amity Cove there's no separation, with the Swarm island there's a bridge. But anyway I'd prefer them to have themed areas, that's just my personal preference because I like it to be organized that way. And I didn't even think Saw was part of Canada Creek anymore, I thought SAW and SAW Alive were just a separate island in itself. Anyway there was another issue I wanted to raise but I've forgotten what it was ugh.
-
I love the idea of it being by the lake, will look really nice, hopefully if they're building this hotel they will make it themed really nicely and fit in well and hopefully that will influence them to do some cleaning and refurb around the park to encourage people to stay at the hotel!

It's all starting to come together!

Yeah I'd like to see this as well.I know it won't be likely to happening over the course of the time it's closed until it reopens but I'd love that if some point that...- As Marc said, CC and LC is opened up for a big open space so each land is easier to distinguish what goes where.- The removal of Mrs Hippo's Safari (or whatever it's name is) to make room for possibly a new flat or an extension to CC or CQ.- A re-theme or removal of X No Way Out to either be themed to AQ or Lost City because it's a bit stuck in the middle.- Some lick and paint for fences and the Thorpe Park shop.- Some refurb on Nemesis and Colossus which is much needed.I'd overall like just each ride to be known to what area belongs to and themed to the area. Also for The Swarm, is that becoming a brand new area or just one area for a ride? Or do we know if it's going to have an apocalyptic theme throughout with eventually new flats being added or?
-
Colossus, fresh coat of paint and clean up the park in general. Sort out the entrance and I know it won't be happening over this closed season because it's a massive project, get rid of the dome it just causes congestion.
-
That looks so intimidating, I knew it would tower over a lot of the park but it's like a LANDMARK, iconic! Anyway looking at the steepness of the zero G I'm really concerned as others have expressed if the wing of the plane will fit. I'm dreading to think that they can't fit it there and will compensate it for another place and make it another Krake repeat, and that was incredibly underwhelming when I find out they just stuck it next to the bottom of the drop

The trims, no oh well, the construction is looking tasty!

You're going to give me nightmares...But anyway, I'm so impatiently waiting for some track to go up! Really can't wait... Wish I was the patient type! Anyway, I suppose Thorpe might of thought of having dark track is maybe on Fright Nights it's harder to see the track, so it'll almost look like it's not there so it gives the illusion that you're really riding an alien? I could be over analysing though... But in daylight, whatever colour you choose is going to be visible and grey and black is a perfectly sensible colour for this project. There's only going to be two black coloured coasters at Thorpe, could be worse! As it stands anyway...

The one time I went to Disneyland Paris was when we didn't go in the studios, but we went with the school, SM is easily the best ride there, much better then the American version of SM in my opinion. BTMR is very good also, Indiana Jones got ridiculous queue's and I was so disappointed I didn't research that the trains go forwards not backwards now. This was about 2007. I'm sure they were turned forwards many years before but I didn't realize

I used to LOVE the flying fish, but not it's back it's really not the same, without the theming it's pure awful
-
went on for the first time the other week forgot to do a complete ride report, yes, it is horribly mediocre. We only queued 5 minutes and it barely spun, we did get a bit wet by the bit at the end above you, didn't see any guns in the queues and don't know if you had to before but you have to pay for (or they weren't working) for the guns now on the outside of the ride (not the queue) when you head back to the station.
