Had a great day at Thorpe Park for Fright Nights
All the mazes are good, Cabin in the woods was the best out of the new mazes and we went on it a few times all the money had clearly gone on this maze leaving a little to be desired for My bloody valentine the thing that disappointed me most about this maze was there is not much to see and they really did not spend a lot on the costumes instead of using the ones that look anything like the ones of the movie with an axe they just had hard hats like a light attached to them and the paint flaking off and for the blair witch project clearly the budget for this was about the same as the film but as they say you cant polish a turd so they made a non scary film in to a non scary walk.
Saw & Asylum was epic as normal and the roaming actors were good but there to contained to the carousel area and not enough going around the park. But on the second day we did not see any your next actors....
Stealth was light up with some pretty colour changing lights and Saw had fire on the shop
all in all it was a very good few nights. When I go back I will deffo be heading straight to Cabin in the woodI also like the new annoucments for the rides it works very well with stelth and some of the music for the flat rides is amazing.

Hey all, I have been looking around the net and I have noticed that as early since the 80's rides have had ORP but I have been wondering how was it done back then before digital cameras? did they have to pay before to get your photo or did someone have to take it manually and how long did they take?
Thanks Mr Fish

I have been told to park on the concrete when it is busy, they like to fill up the grasses bits first
-
Thorpe park have just annouced that there will be an annal pass holder event for Fright night this year, more info here
-
I have also noticed that the noise has a lot more uplifting music and more variety and less repeating the same songs
-
I went to the summer nights on Saturday and it was a great event, been looking at photos of other night and it did indeed look like the busiest night but it was great fun, had a few 5-10 min queue but towards the end of the night some of the rides were totally dead. it was nice having a bit of a party atmosphere and some of the rides playing dance music. I paid £15 to go and I would go again

I swear this is different to the songs played this year or last year?
I think there is so new additions this year

did u go around with just a the lasers? It looks so much better like that
Went on X twice yesterday at two different times and had a brilliant laser show + a very good soundtrack pumping through the whole ride, great fun.
Was closed later in the day, might have something to do with the effects not working, who knows.

the parking won't be free around 7, because that's when the park (well queue lines) close to the general public... I'm confused how they're going to distinguish between normal guests and the summer nights event guests - as for me I'm going in the day as well, so hoping I can get my ticket (and guessing it's a wristband or something if they have to tell guests apart) in the morning and just stay in there the whole time; anyone have any info on that procedure?
At mos they had wrist bands and they use them for the crash pad as well, so I'm sure they ill hand them out, that might be why you can only collect there instead of download

Just another question (sorry if its been covered already).
No online ticket printing - only collection from advance booking hut. Does this mean 1000's of people all queuing for collection of their tickets which lets face it, they ain't the quickest at churning out the tickets checking paperwork etc etc.
Doors open at 7pm - could mean queuing for a while before you even get in to go on the rides....
I'm a bit concerned... I can't get there until about 7-7.15pm as I'm picking up a friend from the train station as he's coming in straight from working in London - by 7.15pm there will be a HUGE queue which will surely eat into roller coaster time!
Any thoughts?
They have this problem with MOS becauase you can only get your tickets from there, it would be best trying to get them as early as possible at MOS they opened about 6 I think

its a rip off considering you can get a MOS ticket for £15 that only has 1000 people in the park and six main coaster open from 8 till 11
-
its a good idea, but its was over priced

I cant wait Is there going to be a after meal somewhere?
-
I used to have it direct from soundcard.
Not very useful, as I no longer have it anymore. Someone may have uploaded it though?

I probably have a recording somewhere, but it isn't great quality! Would you like a link anyway?
