The new/improved story lines are exciting enough, let alone the new rides and complete update of theme. Even if it's no Tooley Street I fail to see how it can't be an improvement in some form or another!

So much agreeing with the lights, Verbolten style An issue with this would be disabled guest access. They could easily do a different system to going up the exit but if the exit guests need to be at the exit and then can't do the maze it would all get complex. I agree Merlin need to experiment with different exits for rides though; despite how stupid it was I was still impressed by the Sub-Terra exit just simply because it wasn't 'thanks for riding, everything is fine now, go on another ride'.
#sawstation concept art looked really dark and cool but in reality it generally wasn't considered as good due to the light being let in.
Totally agree about the maps. The new one doesn't give any idea of the ride's type or intensity. And is very square? Yes that's a bad thing.
And I agree they should leave the towers as lovely towers for the majority of the year if possible. Towers you've made my day.

Having noticed the lack of interest in the fun and games topic in recent years I thought I'd bring back an old favourite game ( )with a new Northern twist. Essentially if you've never got involved before this is your chance as the rules are quite simple in this fun and sometimes totally infuriating game. Each of the rides from Alton Towers Resort starts off with 5 points each. Every contributor must add a point from one ride and subtract a point from another, for example I can add a point onto Charlie & The Chocolate Factory and subtract a point from Nemesis. ( ) If and when a ride hits a low of 0 points the ride is removed and the game restarted with each ride having the original 5 points except for any eliminated rides. After voting you must wait 3 turns before you can play again OR 24 hours since your last post. Actually I've had a complete change of opinion on the entire project. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope they have made it big enough and also have thought about having enough space for other attractions.

Intrigued by Pluk's post I searched a name and bingo first guess was the banned member. Interesting. Rantin' because I'm not fitting in at work at the moment. I know it's early days but being full time if it continues this won't be a very pleasant job.
^ Totally agree with all of this. I find Air is a bit hit and miss but everything else is full capacity on quiet days. A recent trip saw 3 trains on Th13teen even though there weren't often enough guests to fill them all!
Too tired to make a proper post but basically I've bolded all the stuff that jumps out at me. 6:15 is not early. If the department work in shifts then early shift might be 6:00 - 3:00 and late shift 2:00 - 11:00 could be the shift times. Which is what? 9 hours. If you hype up and advertise something costing millions of pounds for months and months and it is completely ****ed on the opening date then yeah I would expect the park to have it up and running.
