Someone (I think Daniel9) was telling me about Frontier making a new roller coaster game but it wasn't going to be RCT4. I'm guessing this is what it is; it looks a bit thrillville-ish but I'll give it a download as it's free! Does it have an in-app store or is it totally free? Because if this was a 'taster' for a full theme park version that would be definitely worth some of my hard earned money.

If I'm honest I don't think a new roof is a necessity even though it would be nice. As long as it isn't left like a moulding construction site minus the roof I'll be happy!

So much airtime. And it has a Blue Fire-esque post-loop turn after that airtime hill. Mmmm.

The site for Full Throttle at Six Flags Magic Mountain is currently being cleared, but when seeing a bunch of photos this stood out to me. Tatsu looks really old and worn out! I didn't know the California sun was that hurtful to B&Ms. How does Silver Bullet at Knotts compare? And also I'm sad that they're building another coaster where a fairly good log flume was placed. It'll be sandwiched between Superman: Escape from Krypton, Tatsu, Revolution, and Goldrusher. Probably why the log flume felt so well placed as it used to be one ride that broke up the continuous streams of roller coasters. I really have that 'what now?' feeling for SFMM. I love that in the facts and figures section is states proudly that 'the top of the water ride stands at 18m tall - that's the equivalent height of an English oak tree'. 'Our slide is as tall as a tree'. But seriously this actually looks decent and I'm surprised it's the first to combine a space bowl and cone (I think?!)

The concept art does make it look very well themed. But we'll have to wait and see!

The new/improved story lines are exciting enough, let alone the new rides and complete update of theme. Even if it's no Tooley Street I fail to see how it can't be an improvement in some form or another!

So much agreeing with the lights, Verbolten style An issue with this would be disabled guest access. They could easily do a different system to going up the exit but if the exit guests need to be at the exit and then can't do the maze it would all get complex. I agree Merlin need to experiment with different exits for rides though; despite how stupid it was I was still impressed by the Sub-Terra exit just simply because it wasn't 'thanks for riding, everything is fine now, go on another ride'.

#sawstation concept art looked really dark and cool but in reality it generally wasn't considered as good due to the light being let in.

Totally agree about the maps. The new one doesn't give any idea of the ride's type or intensity. And is very square? Yes that's a bad thing.

And I agree they should leave the towers as lovely towers for the majority of the year if possible. Towers you've made my day.
