You queue up, they take your printed ticket then to get in you have to scan your AP at the turnstiles it's a system that works and has been used for the past few pass holder preview things.

Train 2 was actually the train used all day. Train one was removed at 4:45 when Stealth (finally) operated without breakdown till the end of the day. Stealth never likes this time of year, I remember in 2008 where the whole plaza was fenced off for fireworks because there was no chance of it opening.

You're going to Thorpe that day are you Jack? Thanks for the invite!
-
No way is Thorpe Park 495 acres. Legoland Windsor is 180 acres or something and Thorpe is no way near 2.5 times bigger than that

Arena, Fungle, Beach, the MTDP showed a roller coaster and 2 flats possibly being squeezed in their, Shark Hotel island when that leaves. Still got Treasure Island I'm guessing they could use (behind Rumba) and so on. If they're smart they've got loads of room plus old rides will start to leave and be replaced by new ones. That's a good 10 years of developments there.

Being stuck on the lift hill of what was Swamp Thing at the time now Flying School at Legoland Florida. That bit was fun. But the ride is awful. I don't dislike rides but it's vile. Roughest, most headache inducing thing I've been on. I wanted compensation just for the ride being there let alone breaking down on it! Can't believe I willingly rode it again last year, must have wanted to give it a go. Unless you're a serious cred hunter, it is not worth the walk up the hill to where it sits by itself. Very happy to have Storm Surge at Thorpe instead of this being brought over here. Yes it's that bad.

Maybe they're creating a walk through science thing/dark ride where Wind in the Willows was to do with this CritterCreek thing? And retheming (or theming in the first place) Stinger to something as the Paultons Park website says it is closed for the remainder of the season until Easter next year. Remember professor Stanley H Blast like roller coasters according to the site thing about CritterCreek. The Diary by him has also been updated a few times in the past month. https://paultonspark.co.uk/education/professor-blasts-diary Would be great if Paultons could create a themed experience around this! And once again, use the success of Peppa Pig to develop there own creations! I look forward to seeing what this develops into!

Each park seems to have their own rules. Towers don't allow them at all. Thorpe you can get as many as you want, Adventure Island refused even with no queue, Chessington seem unsure like always.

They were trialling over the summer an unlimited digital download pass for the season (the passes say till 31st December which is just stupid but hey ho) for £25 to see how popular it was. I think they've stopped selling them now but no doubt they'll be on sale at the beginning of next year as they seemed quite popular when people knew about it! Might even roll it out to across all the Merlin parks for a bit more too.

At the moment you can get an unlimited digital download pass for the day for £20. Just show it at any photo booth and tell them the number/s of the photo you want and they'll give you the digi code. With that you can also get half price photos if you did want a hard copy to take home with you making a photo only an extra £5 instead of 10

Because it is soooo late announced won't be getting the day off (it's okay I understand, you'll just have to put up without me ).

Top 10 deceased attractions you wished to have experienced
Mitchada04 replied to Matt 236's topic in General Discussion
My parents seem to think I've been on Wicked Witches Haunt and Tropical Travels but I've no idea! So that'd be nice Corkscrew was okay, better than the one at Mingo Land that's for sure! Knightmare was the only decent thing about Camelot (although that diesel powered mine train was odd!) Noah's Ark was decent, the log flume thing before Infusion was okay to! Water Chute just looked weird, nothing much to it I guess other than nostalgia. As for deceased rides I wish I'd been able to ride: King Kong is the only one that comes to mind as it closed the first time we went to Florida in 2003. I miss Jaws and Back to the Future was much better than tuff Simpsons but hey ho. Original Vampire and Fifth Dimension would have been cool to, and I miss Rocket Racers too. Might as well throw Submission in the mix -
Being left handed is an excellent conversation starter No one goes "oh you're right handed?" but us lefties get asked and get more attention for it! We have our own scissors, boom!
-
Basically on MBV you had a guy shout at you setting the scene then you "flashback" to the hospital massacre scene which was straight after the guy with the megaphone and then you enter the mine.
-
Smiler uses all 5 trains. And stacks horribly but yeah it does use 5.
-
LEFT HANDED ALL THE WAY!
-
The actual answer is that they'd already been ordered and printed before the Fish decision most likely.

Here's a closer look at the map (soure=me) Don't know why they're advertising the preview event: it's sold out. Heinz is a Thorpe Park sponsor? Okay Who's hungry? Play the game at Backlot BBQ! (Calypso BBQ for all you non FN guests) Knowing about FiA wouldn't be surprised if you did get bitten in the overnight stay! See scary! Yay S13! (Backstage tour lasts 30 minutes for anyone doing one) Plus! The same as last year (they call them classics, I call them lazy) So they open at these times. But I don't want to queue like at all! What should I do? Thank God for Fastrack. Lifesaver. The waters red (apart from Loggers because it's too cool for that!) Shame they couldn't take Flying Fish off the map. OSSUS!!!!!! And there you are, the FN map.
-
They open the gates into the park at 11
-
Stealth= Power Nap.
-
Well they're leaving it quite late then if it is anything to do with FN, they've got just over a week. It's not related, S13 doesn't need a tent it's all in the Asylum building! It's not inconvenient to cut down some trees just because it's next to a maze building. They aren't even working on the site at weekends and certainly won't be at night!
-
Thorpe don't control when something breaks, they just fix it when it does. Not their fault if Intamin things break more than others.
-
Yeah my sister the two times she went met the stars for free. The acts are really nice as they're just happy to be getting some coverage so are considerate to fans. Bailey was caos last Saturday though! He went on Colossus through the exit and they had staff and security stopping any girls entering the shop. At the end of the day they were all crammed on the bridge looking down to the thrills workshop where he was getting ready to leave.
-
Kobra isn't funfair though, it's the permanent Park offering supplied by Zamperla. Disko at Adventure Island is funfair as it can be driven away at any point.
-
He got there at 12. Park closed at 5. Colossus and Swarm were on 2 trains. 13 is a decent number in 5 hours, that's over 2 rides an hour.
