    Wicker Man

I would like to see some sort of new B&M product in Mutiny Bay, probably where the flume is and themed around some sort of Pirate Invasionwhile an updated log flume is built somewhere else in the park.
  2. Inside to me looks very much like it has from the previous years except for new chairs and a repaint which isn't exactly a bad thing. I suppose the fact there's 100% beef burgers now can only be a good thing.
  3. Uuugh, the facade looks horrible and I thought Counts Cauldron looked an eye sore. Creaky is definitely an improvement but this isn't. Anyone have pics of the inside?
  4. To be honest, the Staines area is more of a quarry and waterside area than a country side surrounding unlike Towers, Legoland and Chessington (to a degree).
  5. And no doubt Thorpe have made the railway more presentable as well,
  6. Inferno was the first ride I went on at Thorpe of the tussauds+ era and the first to go upside down on. I can't believe its been there this long now.
  7. I like what they've done to Swarm and Inferno but am bitterly disapointed with the neglect of Loggers and Colossus. They can repaint part of Stealth but let Colossus' rot for another season.
  8. I will really miss the sound of the old chains as I love the noise when the train goes up and down the lift hills (easily my favourite lift hill sound).

    Logger's Leap

Hi guys, I'm new here but having watched the live feed, here's the apparent result of loggers tunnel problem. http://thorpeparkmania.co.uk/page/live Edit-appears I put the wrong link up there earlier
  10. As a theme park fan, I really hate people who complain about themepark noise and operations as it stops and prevents exciting rides from coming. The ropers should get a life as nobody likes them. Some one should consider making a petition in objection to what they want to do.
  11. I do think the Vampire is definitely a world class attraction. Colossus may be as well with it's que interactions. However inferno and stealth lack theming while saw lacks interaction for those to be world classHopefully working their socks off with the Swarm, that ride will hopefully be not far off world class.
  12. Seeing this new pass coming in is not a good idea IMO. Another thing that worries me is that more benificts and restrictions will be eroded from current passes (maybe even premium passes). On the standard meanwhile, exclusions erosions I could see appear are, £5 event fee to standard holders to events at Legoland, no entry to Thorpe park before 2pm in august and the 20% benificts going to 10%. If they ever remove free parking from the premium, I won't be renewing.
  13. Repaint Colossus and give the ride a general tidy up, new que fences. Also fix broken speakers and redo the car park and get rid of that horrible gravel.
  14. Apart from the zoo [ which operates on weekends and holidays], the ride's are now all closed. I only went there once this year and did all the rides except monkey swinger & toadies.
  15. I have no idea why Thorpe are removing such a classic ride. It may not have the speed or thrills of the parks other rides such as Saw and Colossus but removing this ride will rip alot of the old thorpe of the past. It did have a fun factor about it. But unlike the other rides, It was fun not thrilling.
