I think Fins on this ocassion is the best choice for reasons already stated. I've looked around to find out about Staines Creams and all I know currently is that it will open on the 3 or 4th week of March, so could be a close call (unless someone can confirm on the day). Creams is good

Features a cartoony character in his avatar Oh, wait.....

This is great news (for now), as it shouldn't really have to close until 2016. If only towers could now learn from all their other mistakes and start running their park like the world class resort it deserves to be.

I think for a (young) famiky show at the park, it looks very good and sounds like it's a step forward from PTP.

Is Slammers biggest [anti] fan

For a Merlin standards dark ride [like experience], Sub Terra is quite a good addition to the park [bar it's mediocre queue where the only interesting thing is watching the monorail trains pass]. I think for a park that 'appears' to claim it's world class and on a par with parks such as Phantasialand & Efteling [both which are better], It's very disapointing that a park of Tower's prominence in the uk/europe is doing these petty cuts just so their owners can get a little more cash especially at a time when the park is actually seeing increased visitor numbers. They should actually be improving the ride lineup and hours, not cutting corners with staggered openings, ERT lineup reduction and closing one of it's veteran ride's [even if it's likely to close properly when SW8 construction likely begins next year]. Whilst they have their own problems, at least Thorpe [as we know] haven't cut back on costs. If anything they've actually increased their budget as apparently they're investing more in to this year's Fright Nights.

Sounds like it has great potential with a story like setting and incorporating many key elements of the franchise. However lets hope there are not cut corners and the other dream work films don't ruin the story too much.

The theming looks loverly. For a park of paulton's size and position I would say this is on a par if not slightly better than most of Merlin's theming additions.

No idea but hopefully we'll be going somewhere like Harvester or Nandos. Did hear there was a creams openin in Staines later this month but not sure when. I think there's often after meet meals afterwards (except Fright Nights & MOS)

Is 'very' specific on the THORPELAW

I think it's Scurvydog productions (or something like it) that are creating the thrming elements for this attraction. They've also done additions at the other parks too (maybe not towers) and everything so far looks very nice to say the least.

For something I absolutely hated to start off with this is actually very well themed so far. Dare I say this could be the best new (merlin) attraction for 2015?

Yet another after effect of the tomb blaster incident (which was done by park neglect) Joins the Ramesis new cattle pen queue & falls.

For a park that claims to be world class (which is in some cases), this is a very disappointing move from the park. Opening hours for a park of this size should be more like this: Weekdays during term time 10-5 Weekends during term time 10-6 School holidays easter 10-7 School holidays summer 10-8 Scarefest 10-9

Really liking the look of this area so fat, can't wait to see all of it when it opens.

I think for a park the size and popularity of Towers it is unacceptable to do budget cuts after another apparently successful park season [have the 2014 figures properly appeared yet]. They should be increasing their this instead of cutting it, or at least keeping it the same. People complain about Thorpe having rides down and everything, but at least they're trying to get everything up and running again and I've even heard of budget increases in some areas of the park too.

Yeah, I think zodiac used to do at least 5 full 360 rotations. Nowadays we're lucky if we get one full rotation.

A Well and truly deserving winner of [what one could say was a very long] Legoland ride game. It's a great family ride where even nearly 20 years since originally opening remains the greatest ride at the park with the likes of Viking River Splash, Laser Raiders, Atlantis and the rest not quite living up to it's greatness.

I think the problem with Thorpe is, a lot of their rides are just unreliable. Slammer has been a maintenance & reliability nightmare since the beginning (although when it works, it works very well). Samurai dare I say has been even more unreliable than slammer lately and I'll be staged if it still exists in over three years times considering its died the last few fright nights at least. Tidal Wave seems to get a problem every blue moon and when it does it takes it down for a while, Rumba- judging how long it's been closed compared to usual does make it look like something major has happened preventing it from operating. Saw is just being Saw. I just doesn't seem to be as reliable as the other coasters (which even have their own issues) or even its cousins Speed & Rage etc.
