For a Merlin standards dark ride [like experience], Sub Terra is quite a good addition to the park [bar it's mediocre queue where the only interesting thing is watching the monorail trains pass].
I think for a park that 'appears' to claim it's world class and on a par with parks such as Phantasialand & Efteling [both which are better], It's very disapointing that a park of Tower's prominence in the uk/europe is doing these petty cuts just so their owners can get a little more cash especially at a time when the park is actually seeing increased visitor numbers.
They should actually be improving the ride lineup and hours, not cutting corners with staggered openings, ERT lineup reduction and closing one of it's veteran ride's [even if it's likely to close properly when SW8 construction likely begins next year].
Whilst they have their own problems, at least Thorpe [as we know] haven't cut back on costs. If anything they've actually increased their budget as apparently they're investing more in to this year's Fright Nights.
