I have ridden Detonator five times (in a day), and plan on doing that again.

The Sudios icon is being demolished? Now that's taking the Mickey

Looks, I have beenf blue to find more TPM couples. . Topsyturvy15 & Matt a Creek (me). You can either call us Topsy Creek or Men Peaj & Alex = Alpenpeaj And finally, Matt Creek & Alpengeist = Creekengeist, Alpen Creek or Malpencreek

Matt Creek on Ice has been cancelled, I'm afraid I won't be making this one due to travel and budgeting reasons (but should hopefully appear at the Feb meet). Sorry guys!

Yeah, looks very Zierer to me. Those supports look much more pleasing to the eye as opposed to a frame (as Mentioned above). I would take a guess it'll be a coaster on the scale of the likes of Troublesome Trucks, Dragons Apprentice & Stinger). Hopefully there will be a noticeable amount of theming added to the ride (to make up for its likely short length).

Well, there's one thing I can say. It's definitely not B&M Part of me thinks it may be either Gerstlauer or Zamperla, but that's just a guess (as they look smiler'ish)

Good move by the park adding another rides though. It sure what is it. I'm actually wonder why the park (looks) like its closing in September this year (cutting a month off the season)? Surely they wouldn't do this if they were doing well, unless there's something major happening to the park next year or it's just bit been added yet (very strange).

That's not me, that's Professor Drunk, (my alter ego). I'm not going to forgive him for this.
-
I think we. May be holding out til next year on that one as they're planning a major ride next year.

Matt Creek needs a doubleact

Very happy with that meet trip outline, sounds very exciting to me. Hoping to attend all of these (except probably not Guildford) Edit- ok feedback from last year's meets Blackpool my favourite meet last year and really enjoyed, as I love seeing places (outside of the big 4 Merlin parks) Chessington meet was a great success as always which I found a trip with lots of laughs and very relaxed overall and the monkey puzzle at the end being a nice ending. Towers was nice and I did enjoy the Golding at the end. Waterpark dId t seem popular last year. Only flaw was Professor Drunk . I like the game, empires & spooning and I think wink murder could work (with some working of method). Maybe a Haloween fancy dress competition could be incorporated in to the fright nights meet.

Really want to make this one (considering I couldn't make last year's) But will likely need a lift to make my appearance definite
-
So Far I can do every day listed on the poll except the 22nd as I'll be working that day. Hope I can make this and look forward to the spooning game.

Digger Challenge is going next year to make way for the Lego Friends (City retheme) area which will be replaced by a new show (I believe). The Pirate show is staying but the stage area will receive some TLC this year (I've heard). I think the park still want to get the Haunted House ride built but will just have to wait longer for it (maybe 2017 ish). I think it's certain Paultons has overtaken Legoland now (Id argue this happened perhaps as early as 2009). Which has three coasters (a fourth on the way), disko coaster, peppa pig land and a drop tower vs 2 coaster, numerous water rides snd 2 dark rides.

Disneyland Paris Trip 24th - 26th April 2015

Europa tommorow Disney Today (If Peaj's post a few up is hint, exciting times ahead). -
Unless they can find a major way of sorting out the traffic problems (which based on space and the heavy forested yet built up area) will be extremely difficult to manage, Legoland's days of expanding (such as 2005-2012) have come to an end. I think 80% of future additions at Legoland will only be ride rethemes, new shows, meet and greets and playground equipment. If the park can't get an enclosed dark ride approved, what hope do they have of adding anything else (except the above)? Rumour has it even the Castaway Camp (which opened last year) was originally refused.

The problem with Thorpe is not that it's main coasters don't have high throughout (with the possible exception of saw which gets 950 on a good day) but is rather it needs an increase of higher throughput of supporting rides. Towers (which is far from from perfect) does this better (aside from the larger gaps between rides due to location) which has its primary rides Nemy, Air, Oblivion, Smiler & Thirteen whilst it's secondary rides are Hex, Duel, Rita, Sub-Terra, Congo, Flume, Mine Train and Spinball. Most of these secondary rides receive good/decent throughput for thei positions (bar Spinball). I think once thorpe get the dark ride (snd it has a decent throughput), there will be a slightly reduced problem of throughputs hopefully.

Or perhaps every ride built at Thorpe since Merlin's ownership except the Swarm.

I still think they should go with the 'spring cleaning' option someone said around here a while ago. Quite a lot of the park could do with a facelift. Rumba, Canada Creek and parts are lost city feel very fun down and even parts like Inferno, Amity (Stealth's sign is a washout) and even ABL could have some TLC done to them. Just market next year's ride and clean the park up I say (and maybe reopen the CCR).

The thing with Disney though is, they don't go all shouty like Merlinabout their new rides, like it's going the most technological ride in modern times is coming, even with new stuff and just aim at making it look like a generally good ride. That being said though, disney is generally different as people dont really go there for the rides but more for the Disney experience, characters, shows, meets & greets etc. On another note, I can't wait for Chessington's new coaster Air Corkscrew coming in 2027 (swarm's already had its turn a Heide).
