  1. A B&M launch, very excited and happy about that, wonder how it'll, compare to the likes of the Mack launched rides. Either way, I'm very excited about this new ride which is not just another exciting looking B&M and Wing Rider but is expanding the company's product range with its new launch concept.
  2. I think £50 is too much for one day entry to Thorpe, even with the 2 4 1 and season pass offers. I'm strongly against mid season price increases, especially as nothing new has been added to the parks and almost every other uk park (outside of Merlin) charges around half of their prices. £49.99 is such a cheek to not crossing the £50 barrier on Metlins part. Howling before the £60 crossing?
  3. I find it amazing yet ironic that the most visited/ popular themepark in Europe is the most in debt.Hopefully one day they'll finally remove the debt however that day still seems a long way off, even if Ratatouille is massive success.
  4. I hope they will still open Forbidden Valley, mine train and Duel on top of these, (X-Sector & Cbeebies) as though it's good having (what's mostly) the new popular rides open, it would be quite a step back for me if these were the only areas open for ERT.
  5. Theming so far looks great. I'm very glad the park is now adding more features within the parks and hotels this year. Looks a nice centrepiece there.

The last filmed episode of the Teletubbies ever made.
  7. In terms of coaster roughness Runaway Mine Train- It's a powered coaster so it's not very rough Nemesis- For a 20 year old ride it's beautifully smooth, it may not be 100% but the last few rides I've had have been smooth as silk Oblivion- very smooth Air- it's smooth Spinball- varies by ride, some train are rougher than others but shouldn't be anything too painful Rita- probably the roughest coaster at the park. The ride does bash you about a fair amount. Thirteen- nothing rough on this coaster Smiler- first half of the ride isn't too bad, bad it does gets pretty rough on the second half especially on the last 3 inversions. If you're on trains 3 or 5 you should get a decent ride but on train 4 be prepared for rattly jolty ride. That's my opinions on roughness but rides vary on different days and times.
  8. Sounds like you has a great trip despite the uncertain weather. Drayton is a park in the uk I hope to get done eventually. However that a Buffalo coaster sounds like it does need to be replaced with a new coaster sooner rather than later.
  9. Bungalow (Because it was from one of their old tv shows when I was a kid)
  10. Swarms running noticeably more forceful than last year, it definitely pulls some intensity on the second inversion and first helix.
  11. Looks pretty decent to me, lots of great effects and interactive video sections too. I think it will be a fantastic coaster for the park with a mixture of fun and thrills. Being a Potter fan myself I'm impressed so far from I've seen both in/out of the ride.
  12. The theming there just looks incredible. I just love the details they've put in to this park. Looks like another park in the world that makes Merlin's theming look meh (even towers).
  13. Thanks for the trip report Luke. Port Aventura sounds and looks a loverly park and certainly one I've been wanting to visit for a years now, even if just for Shambhala. Shame Khan is now constantly braked however still sounds a great fun ride.
  14. Yeah I do think 15 mil is very optomistic number wise IMO. I just hope this park is a big success and turns out to be on the leagues of DLP , Europa etc. (neither which I've been to yet) and also gives Merlin the much needed competition and kick they need ATM. Just hope it's opening isn't a disaster and flop though (like Eurodisney)
