Here's the current state of Mine Train reported from Themepark guide.
http://www.themeparkguide.biz/news-page/19th-june-2013-runaway-minetrain-upgrade
Appears the walkways are being redone but seems the rock work won't be returning for a while (sad times). I wonder when/if the ride will reopen this year?

As a themepark enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoy visiting themepark and attractions and trying out new rides and experiences. However there are many themeparks and attractions out there that I dream of visiting and have yet to visit.
So the question is, which ten themeparks and/or attractions in the world would you like to visit that you haven't seen yet and why?
For me, the list has to be
10/ Gardaland, Merlin international sister park which has the exciting looking Raptor
9/ Heide Park, I like the look of all those rides plus Kraken too
8/ Disney Land Paris, looks amazing and magical with exciting rides plus the nearest big park to uk
7/ Knotts Berry Farm, lots of roller coasters and a big sized park
6/ Sea World, amazing area with a great sea theme
5/ Phantasialand, Black Mamba looks amazing
4/Universal islands of adventures, one word, Harry Potter world
3/ Walt Disney World, amazing giant scale rides there
2/ Port Aventura, Shambhala looks mind blowing
1/ Europa Park, just watching videos of the place has made me fall in love with the park it looks wonderful.

Best luck with it jack, hope it goes well.
I have now finished my college course (L3 music Practice) which I have achieved a grade of triple distinction star (D*D*D*) which is equivalent to three A stars. Apparently I'm only the third person ever on my course to have achieved it. I feel over the moon about my results.
Meanwhile, the rest of my class apparently are badly behind work (perhaps more so than the smiler) which is a shame for them.

Can't wait Til the 2013 forum awards, hope to win or become runner up in something (although not storm surge).
That being said, I don't want to rush the rest of 2013 as we are only halfway through the year so far and I'm yet to be Marmalised.

Well I didn't see this coming old Rammy getting broken down to the degree that ride may no longer be able to operate in its current form. On the positive note, least no one got hurt.
I'm so glad I was able to go on it at the Chessie meet especially as the ride's future is now uncertain.

The Smiler
Coke or Pepsi?

Yep, I booked my one a week or two ago. I would suggest buying a ticket ASAP as it usually sells out 1-2 weeks before the night and this one could be popular being 90s anthems.
-
Less than a week now before I see all you loverly people's again. During the trip, I shall bring my secret weapon along, the camera to capture photos and videos of the trip for a possible movie.

Banned for buying his pass at Chessington.

Apparently sayings have now emerged that Oblivion's lift hill chain snapped yesterday and may have a lengthily time closed.
Seems to be going heads up for towers ATM especially with all the Smiler problems recently.
-
Err, what am I seeing? They have built a 2D brickwork surround to replace the old cave, or am I seeing things?
Help, I'm worried.
I believe the brickwork pictures is actually additional theming for the (now rethemed) Flying Jumbos and has been there since the start of the season.

Banned for occupying most of the facial shots.

Banned for getting Envious about going on the Smiler.

It seems so,whileJack and I are oblivious to all of this.

Hi All, better late than never but here's my video of the exciting trip we had to Thorpe that day featuring numerous ride shots and the adventures that took place during the day. Enjoy.

Chessington have now added a ride status page on their web saying which rides have normal operation and which ones are closed.
http://www.chessington.com/plan-your-trip/ride-status.aspx
Although there doesn't seem to be much change from last time, it states Mine Train is closed for refurbishment with no apparent opening date yet. Could this be a sign for more rides being down for refurbishment in the future?
-
I shall also be there during the whole day to join in the fun of the adventure before ERT.
-
Sounds a very interesting ride and experience there. Isn't there a ride though in one the six flags called acrophobia where the seats tilt or something but none the less looks very interesting ride there.
-
I would like to see an area for past rides, review area and also more media and interactive stuff.
-
Third time running now this has happened. I think towers should consider to rename the ride The Staller

Wow, I had one fanboy meets everything else dream last night where I was essentially at Alton Towers with TPM and going around the areas and for some reason, I had to play a piano in the towers Chappell or something (Iam a pianist and also do something similar for my job) and then lost track of TPM.
When I almost found TPM again which I was now in the Dark Forest, another group of people I know (from my community play) suddenly appeared and distracted me from the group. I forget what else happened but I surely woke up not long after.
Call it weird or random but that's pretty much my fanboy/weird/clashing dream where I'm at towers and many things happen at once.
Rameses Revenge
in Chessington World of Adventures
Posted
According to Themepark Guide , Chessington aren't allowing anyone to take photos of Ramesis at the moment (perhaps due to embarrassment or ongoing work). However there is a truck on site near Hocus Pocus with equipment to take the ride apart. Is this really the end of Ramesis Revenge?
