  1. Though quite a few people seem to shun Depth Charge, I would like it stay for a while as its one of Thorpes classics and the way you enter the park with the beach and the rides in the distance is quite exciting how you're at the start of the thrilling experience. With new boats (and what appears to be some tlc to the ride), I can see Depth Charge staying at least three more years.

    Slammer

New for 2013, Worlds first sky swat at Thorpe Park.
  3. One Direction, which way could that be, the wax room?
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if it was relocated to County Hall, but Iam not sure where it would go there.
  5. Swarm is probably the smoothest coaster on park (followed by Inferno).
  6. Mc Donald's & Subway for me.
  7. Nope, they just quack all over that amazing soundtrack.

    Logger's Leap

Its a shame we never got that woodie (where Saw lives now) as not just would we have seen the tunnel restored but (to a degree) improved with the proposals of the train going through a joint tunnel with loggers.

    Slammer

If Slammer is running next time I visit Thorpe, I may pluck up the courage and try this worlds only ride.
  10. Can't wait to ride Inferno in the smoke again and the atmospheric dispatch theme playing.
  11. Loving the fresh new restraints on this ride.
  12. I like the music as well, but the ducks literally ruin it for me p,us the fair ground loop cuts are shocking.
  13. To be honest, I don't think the boats look too bad and give the ride abut of extra colour.
  14. The final facade should've been similar to the original Black Forest cateau. It's bright colourful, quirky, full of character and fulfills its appearance as an eatery.
  15. Hi all, perhaps a bit off topic but didn't there used to be some sort of small playground near Depth Charge called Sea Snakes and Ladder? Only it used to appear on the attraction list but has disappeared in recent years.

    X

I'm guessing with the delayed opening and lower height restriction that the park must be getting new forward trains for the ride. I still hope they re theme the ride though as it needs it.

    Wicker Man

I would like to see some sort of new B&M product in Mutiny Bay, probably where the flume is and themed around some sort of Pirate Invasionwhile an updated log flume is built somewhere else in the park.
  18. Inside to me looks very much like it has from the previous years except for new chairs and a repaint which isn't exactly a bad thing. I suppose the fact there's 100% beef burgers now can only be a good thing.
  19. Uuugh, the facade looks horrible and I thought Counts Cauldron looked an eye sore. Creaky is definitely an improvement but this isn't. Anyone have pics of the inside?
  20. To be honest, the Staines area is more of a quarry and waterside area than a country side surrounding unlike Towers, Legoland and Chessington (to a degree).
  21. And no doubt Thorpe have made the railway more presentable as well,
  22. Inferno was the first ride I went on at Thorpe of the tussauds+ era and the first to go upside down on. I can't believe its been there this long now.
  23. I like what they've done to Swarm and Inferno but am bitterly disapointed with the neglect of Loggers and Colossus. They can repaint part of Stealth but let Colossus' rot for another season.
  24. I will really miss the sound of the old chains as I love the noise when the train goes up and down the lift hills (easily my favourite lift hill sound).

    Logger's Leap

Hi guys, I'm new here but having watched the live feed, here's the apparent result of loggers tunnel problem. http://thorpeparkmania.co.uk/page/live Edit-appears I put the wrong link up there earlier
