  1. Same for me on Sunday, after a 10 min delay waiting on the train ... There was also no actors in the middle scene? This was the first time I've done it this year, is this normal now?
  2. Yeah, it includes park tickets, containment at a tenner each, car parking, breakfast next day and fast track on all the mazes for an hour. Park tickets, containment and car parking alone comes to around £90 - £95 ish so I think its really good value.
  3. It's £111 for 2 people. I think that's very good value bearing in mind that includes park tickets as well at £33 each if you don't have an annual pass
  4. Makes sense for them as Blair Witch really won't cost them a lot to bring back compared to Big Top If Big Top goes and there is nothing new this year I won't be attending Fright Nights - last year I only enjoyed Big Top and Platform RIP Fright Nights

You can now buy student season passes for £39! If you're a student, that's a bargin
  6. So this will be the second SBNO ride at Thorpe with a queue used for a scare maze ?
  7. ^^ Completely agree with your last point. The first time I went to Towers years ago me and my family just walked past Duel. Had no idea what it was, didn't even know if it was an attraction. It would be so much more popular if people knew what it actually was.

    Chicken wings
  9. Cal replied to JoshC.'s topic in The Past
I believe these were only added last season
  10. The weekends always used to have the same opening hours as well, but on Sundays its only until 5pm now. Lost an hour on every Sunday
  11. Annual passes have gone down this year - £49 Anyone know if this excludes a load of Saturdays like the standard Merlin annual pass? If not this is very good value
  12. X

Cal replied to Garyy's topic in The Past
I heard rumours of X going a few years back with Slammer, so now that Slammer has gone it does make sense.

£10 each for walking dead ones, £8 for the rest

How were they sending groups every 20-30 secs? Not doubting what you're saying but the safety announcement is over a minute long. Were they not playing this as well as the pre-show?
  15. They will probably give wristbands or something to pass holders with tickets and only allow people with wristbands on the attractions
  16. Anyone know what the deal is with containment on Monday? Is it open?
  17. In the past, how busy are these events usually? What are the queues normally for the mazes and the rides? Thanks

Always wanted to experience Face it Alone and the year I'm 18 for Fright Nights it goes

Experiment 10 and MBV were both up there with my favourites Thorpe has done, looking forward to see what they do with the shipping containers this year!
  20. Once you're on the shop, there is no option to select 1 day Thorpe park tickets, there is only the option for day ticket + fast track
  21. Funny how it only gives you the option to buy tickets with a one shot fast track now
  22. Cal replied to Lewie900's topic in General Discussion
Vortex has been open the last 4 days
  23. I suggest getting there very early, they let people in a lot earlier than advertised and you can get Colossus, Saw, Nemesis Inferno and even Stealth done before 11am

Saws queue time is no longer updated by staff and is calculated automatically by the number of people entering the queue line, it now displays its queue time by the minute! Wonder how accurate this is and if it'll be rolled out across the rest of the park!

Anyone know why Detonator can never be heard anymore? Used to be able to hear it from Inferno!
