Slammer was being tested Yesterday, because a member of staff has posted a picture of it being tested on instagram. I have no idea what rides were open today but I have only seen pictures of coasters, so maybe only coasters were open today? Even if it was just coasters open today, they would still have signage up ready for the weekend so I doubt it will be open for the weekend.

When Colossus is running on only 1 train, I tend to hear "Please stand clear..." playing through the whole queue line but otherwise I hear the full theme.

TPG was on park today and posted a photo of Slammer, with the signage still not up and the bin blocking the entrance. Guessing I won't be riding my favourite flat on Sunday:'(

If I'm honest, I prefer the recent Colossus' music than the older one...

I like the look of the new map! But if it was my first time going to the park, I don't think I'd find it very helpful...

Did you previously have an annual pass? If so just use your old annual pass number and bring your old one on the day, and then either buy or collect your new one on the day. I have emailed Thorpe Park and they have confirmed with me that this is ok

Never got to ride it, but I could imagine strobe lines being really good in that area.I know it looks really unclear, but I could sort of imagine it. Don't understand why they got ride of them to be honest.

I booked with my annual pass which runs out on the 28th of February because I'm not getting a new one till I'm there, I should be alright with that if I bring my old one shouldn't I?

This really annoys me! It pretty much happens at least once every time I go there.

Well with Thorpe Park dishing out their annual passes with a free fast track for only £48, I don't think many people won't have them anymore. I think one of the days should be for people with Merlin annual passes only.

Never been to an annual pass day because I always thought they were packed haha, but apparently last years wasn't to bad? I'm hoping to go on the 16th.

I've been stuck on quite a few rides before, but most of the time I'm really unlucky and am right at the front of the que when it brakes down! I've only been evaced from one ride which was Loggers at fright night last year. It wasn't on a lift hill though, it was at the bottom of the lift hill, but we got to walk down the old CCR track and got free fast tracks! With Vortex, once for me it did like 2 small swings at the start, then stopped and the floor came back up about halfway, but then started going down again. Then it just started again and was fine! I think the operator might of emergency stopped it by accident maybe? This was in the 2012 season.

Wouldn't like to be in that saw que.... Storm surge looks really bright and clean from above!
