I think its called Miami trip 3... Its the only style of ride that genuinely makes me feel like I'm going to be sick - plus this particular one has horrible restraints which don't allow you to rest your arms down on your lap and you have to hold them up on the restraints, plus it lasts far too long!!

Has anyone got their bloomin perk package in the post yet!? It says for half term, but which one, I wouldn't be surprised if they meant and intend to send it out beginning of April for the easter half term, as it's only alton towers that's open with rides this half term!

I hope the capsules are sealable as a bought a refill one for the day at Thorpe park and it leaked out the straw and had a hole in the lid which was a nightmare!!

Well good to hear about the pleasure beach... Got to at least be happy for them as hey haven't exactly had the best last few years with all the losses they've been having.

I seen on the news about how the promenade and road was completely closed off with signs ripping off etc. Did worry for the actual tower itself which I'm sure they'll need to thoroughly check the tower when the weather backs off to reopen (?), shocked to hear the roof has ripped off, and really hope BPB is intact... I mean as for the big one don't think it could have any more supports so sure its fine aha!

I try and get through the one at alton towers and chessington as quick as possible as I've seen it all before, even though it's still good to have a look. Last entry at 6, closes at 7... perfect! cheers for that

at a push... hoping to do all 4, as well as a quick visit to the natural history museum in a day... how long is the minimum you'd need to spend in sea life really, say I visited in the afternoon til closing time?

Okay thanks! just got a merlin pass now, and working out if I can, and if it's worth trying to do all 4 attractions in a day as well as a bit of sightseeing aha!

Has anyone visited the SeaLife centre in London, and could tell me if it is really worth the visit when their are sea life centres in chessington and Alton towers which I'll be visiting anyway... Like as its a sole attraction in London is it a lot bigger and better? Thanks.

there's a public footpath along the back stretch of thorpe park past nemesis inferno... I remember biking along it back in 2009 when staying in chertsey. Not sure if this is Monks walk though?

I don't think I've every experienced drayton manor busy... going may day bank holiday weekend in 2012 was quiet, as well as in august in 2012 and 2013, and the fireworks event last year, although packed on the evening, the park was pretty quiet all day. So just wondering if anyone has ever been in july as I'm considering going, just didn't know if drayton manor gets affected badly by school trips at the end of the year before summer holidays, as I wouldn't like to experience a busy drayton manor after being so spoilt with it on past visits any help would be appreciated.

a windshear is different though... Boneshaker & Ripsaw put together, never experienced one, but would love to see it replace ripsaw when the time comes.

Corkscrew at Alton Towers as if I remember correctly it had a 1.2m height restriction... think I may have done black hole before if that's classed as a big coaster?

not sure if it's already been mentioned but does anyone know if rameses, bubbleworks or runaway train will be open in time for the season or at a later date?

I thought that was july haha... but okay, I'll be sure to visit before then - so doubt going in april will make any difference in terms of opening times than going in may (non holidays).

Trying to plan a trip or two to alton towers in April, May and/or June which would be on a friday... just wondering if anyone knows from past years what's the chances of alton towers being open later in June in comparison to April, or in comparison to Thorpe? many thanks, I know it won't be definite answers as alton haven't released their opening times yet, and if I'm right in saying don't think they do til like a month before?

It is good they offer it... But almost makes it pointless with how much it costs

I'd rather pay like £20 to get in and spend an hour or two there... will probably give it a miss then. I hate how much it is for the one ride, and I hate the wristband idea as mine would never scan and annoyed me being on my wrist lol- they might as well just make it a ticket entry theme park. thanks for the info though

hopefully going up to blackpool for a few days in may... but won't have time for a day in pleasure beach unfortunately, but just wondering can you get in the park for free and pay just to go on the big one (as it was closed when I visited back in october) - any help would be appreciated

is there a possibility whatsoever that we could see a new ride replace it for this season though? as their flat ride lineup was limited with terrible rides at that as it was, and although not much of a loss to lose submission it's still a thrill ride which will be gone. Unless something has gone wrong with it, why remove it now? why not wait til next season for when it would hopefully be replaced...

Thorpe Park could do with it I guess... shame they removed it on Stealth, that's for sure!
