Basically, there was a guy in some hot tub or bath with nothing but the logo and text to cover his modesty. The funniest part was this guy was the spitting image of IanNem! I've been looking out for another paper with this advert in so I could scan and upload it, but no luck! Congratulations on your new job, Ian!

That fat green bastard Andy the Android needs to seriously learn how to spell. Their recent firmware upgrade to Jellybean on my phone has ruined the XT9 dictionary and deleted all of my saved words, and now can't spell the basics! It decides to paste text at the top of a field when you place the cursor somewhere else, and also predicts what you're going to write next, so if you go back and edit something to add a word in, it decides to add the word in somewhere else where it think it fits in better! It comes to something when it can spell gobbledegook but not tyre. [/geedkyandroidtalk]

Sorry, but I rubbish that. I rode it on 20th March for the first time in about a year, and it's speed is definitely the same. Take a look at my recent post a page or 2 back about motor speeds. Slammer is one ride that has an experience which never leaves you - even after 12 months or longer.

Do you mean the bunny hop as you head towards the shop? I'll never forget my first ride on Colossus. Enjoyable and fantastic yes, but as we went over the bunny hop, I suddenly had this vision of not making it and crashing through the window into the shop, and so a quick reaction made me duck my head as fast and as low as possible, in time before making it underneath the shop. This made my mate sitting next to me crack up for the rest of the ride. I look back and laugh at it now, but on the highest point of the bunny hop your head is about level with the shop window - and they The Swarm has near-misses!

3 reasons I think the Bayon faces will return to the ride: Firstly, a recent look at where the Bayon faces sat around the drop reveal evidence that work is getting them ready for to return at some point. The area I mean is behind the gate to the left of Tomb Blaster's entrance, accessible to engineers only. The only way you can see it is to go up the stairs on Tomb Blaster's entrance, and look out to the right - from here, you get a good clear view over the gates. I'm due to visit again soon, and I shall take my camera and get a photo of the current state of it, as 2 large blocks of conrete the Bayon faces sat on still exists. Even when this is back open, riders won't really be able to see this by looking over the side of a boat before going down the drop. Secondly, this still exists: It's only a small detail and probably the least of their worries, but even the sign explaining about Angkor Wat is still there. Thirdly, this year's park map shows the Bayon faces.

The "heap of ****" walls that you can see all around do look like they were formed yesterday, and although they may not look attractive at the moment, I'm sure in time they will.

What the blazes is going on with Transylvania's music?! It sounds so awful and out of place! On a more positive note, the Zufari area music is very good and not too in-your-face. Does anyone know where I can download the exterior Hocus Pocus Hall music, used by the arch entrance and up as you walk up the path? I have the main interior tune as you progress from the first room, but have always loved this exterior tune and would love to grab a copy.

As I walked through the park last week, I couldn't help but think how old and unpopular Toadie's Crazy Cars is these days - well I think it's unpopular, I hardly see people queueing for it and usually empty cars along the circuit. Anyway, I think it could go to make way for a better attraction for kids. Or, if you removed it and also got rid of the lake of crocodiles, and small gardens, you could probably fit a decent family flat ride in or a small coaster. Those who like to use the gardens and relax could use the lawn near Fury. It's no louder, and could be developed to become a more relaxing area.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Chessington South (and boy what ****hole of a station, thank god it's small).
