  1. You see I completely disagree with all this negativity regarding queues on Saturday. While operations were dreadful on Saturday I can't see how maze queues were really all that bad. We did Cabin 3 times, and the others once each and queued a maximum of an hour for any one go... Queued for cabin at 2:30 and got in within 5 mins of opening. An hour for MBV, an hour for SAW, 45 mins for big top (though after a break down). Max of 30 mins for both extra goes through Cabin. Granted we didn't do Blair witch because of the queue looking unbearable but we did all we wanted within the day without problems. We're we somehow at a different park? :')! Not being rude of anything but I'm genuinely stunned by reading of other people's experiences! I think it all went quite well but I guess we were lucky and times things well by chance!
  2. See that's exactly what I was worried about :') knowing me I'd probably manage to run out of time :') I'm at a stage where I literally don't even flinch in mazes so if this is even less scary then I pretty much definately won't be scared. Still, may give it a go, thanks for the info
  3. Anyone actually done containment and is it worth the money? Considering it for next visit...
  4. The video actually worked fine for me! Kinda wasted on me though because I refuse to see spoilers haha
  5. Has anything new been put in in place of the hospital scene or is the maze just even shorter now?? :/ it was my least favourite anyway for a number of reasons but still that's not good!
  6. Ahahah amazing :')
  7. I feel like I may be okay :')
  8. ^^ I noticed this too! Though it was a tad lazy tbh, couldn't have taken much effort to think of a new name for the new overall theme but that said there are still a lot of movie based mazes On a different note I'll be there on the 10th and 16th cannot wait
  9. As far as I can remember, you're almost always with someone! In MBV the group is split in half but you'll be with other people. Blair Witch is completely linear and you stay with the large group you enter with. Cabin is totally different in that it's completely free flow- as in you can actually get lost if you don't know where you're supposed to be heading- and the actors have the advantage of being able to isolate you or shove members of the group into different rooms. Although I've usually been with at least one other person in my group the whole way through, I've had a couple runs where I've been alone for a short while! It ends linear though so you'd probably meet back up! Of course, with all the mazes there's a chance you'll be picked on and perhaps held back for a short while...
  10. On the whole I thought Tulleys was a lot better in terms of themeing and overall presentation. It really lives up to it's name in that way, but primarily, it is supposed to be a little more family friendly and lighthearted than FN so I've always found the FN mazes to be more intense! Love both events and make a habit of doing them each year
  11. I won't even lie, I'm probably way too much of a wimp to do Face It Alone anyway haha but there are serious flaws to not being able to choose- the main one being: what if you wanted to try every single maze? You probably couldn't :/ it's kinda killed the chance of people wanting to redo it.
  12. I noticed the MBV two doors thing but didn't wanna get too excited, one could be an actor route or something and could be disguised- omg I so hope that's not the case though!
  13. Hahaha oh wow :') I didn't even realise you were meant to go through them for the longest time- I used to crawl underneath :') !!
  14. Ahhh thank you! (I just went to hell and back trying to embed the image and had to delete my post twice because I kept getting it wrong, I am hopeless so thanks haha)
  15. I have a photo of this but I'm like an old woman with the internet and I don't know how to add it... Yeah xD if someone could let me know that'd be fab :') Anyway, the MBV information board is up and it states that guests must keep their hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them at all times throughout the maze... Now correct me if I'm wrong but this wasn't a rule before? Not really liking the idea at all if I'm honest, I'm hoping it's some kind of misprint (fingers crossed)
  16. Not sure if it's been pointed out yet but Thorpe have said on twitter that there's going to be a £1 booking charge for premium annual pass holders, presumably to discourage people from booking for a whole load of days 'just in case' and then ending up not going. Personally I'm not too pleased by the concept, but at the end of the day it IS only a pound. Thoughts?
  17. That's exactly what I thought! They said it was from studio but I was like- pretty sure it's Asylum and they looked super confused so either A: they were telling the truth and just got the previous mazes mixed up or B:they made it up and it's a coincidence Asylum had a kitchen haha
  18. Yeah I can vouch for this, I was there! The hosts seemed adamant that the slide and cyclone would be returning in three weeks from last Thursday when we were there. And yeah there's apparently still a "kitchen set" somewhere in there from one of the old mazes, but it's been blocked off rather than removed. Least that's what these same two hosts told us! So since everyone seems to be saying totally different things, I'm gonna go ahead and say thorpe as a whole have very little idea what's going on. I'd trust those working more closely with the maze rather than the social media team personally! On a different note, the woman leading our group on this same Thursday SO RUDE! Ruined what little experience was left. The new finale "escape from the jungle" saw us all running out down the side of the building, just avoiding the cyclone and out the back of the building, even though we were lied to that there were 6 doors to potentially take to make it more exciting :') oh dear! I don't even know what to say, I wasn't a fan of this attraction before but WOW :')
  19. Loves me, though probably not more than his iPad ^^
  20. This is genius haha! Though I can't fathom why you wouldn't want the extra spicy chicken for real?? It's amazing And Jordan, I swear, if you call me Ru"BAE" one more time you're sleeping on the bridge on Thursday and I hope it rains haha :')
  21. "The Sharkie" :') :') :') I'm dying xD
  22. Cheeky as hell! As long as there's garlic bread and Piri Piri salt involved I'm down
  23. Oh no!! That is pretty unlucky! When I was there they all crouched on the ground, then one of them yelled something about eating us and they all attacked! Simultaneously the guys in black chased us with weapons, it was amazing! An actor in the Cabin queue became quite fixated with us and chased us into the maze and was waiting to give us one last scare when we came out of it- he was awesome haha! The director was good too, he stopped my boyfriend and I and briefly pretended to interview us about being in his "film". All in all pretty good I thought!
  24. This is astonishingly perfect <3
